Description
MMV
==============================================================================

What is MMV? Well More Material Variants is a solution to the problem which arises once your favorite armor is no longer strong enough for your needs. At this point you have to decide whether or not you want to keep your good looking armor or move onto something which doesn't look as nice. Well with this mod I aim to remove this decision by making More Material Variants of each of your favorite armors. So far I have only MMV'd Dawnguard Heavy Armor but if it proves popular enough I will do more.

Contents
==============================================================================

This mod adds three more material variants to Dawnguard Heavy Armour: Dwarven, Orichalcum and Ebony.
It also adds two more material variants to Dawnguard Light Armour: Elven, Glass
Each armor set has its own texture and improved stats. All of the armor pieces can be crafted and tempered. For the light armor cuirasses you can also craft three variants: Sleeveless, no pauldrons and single pauldron.

How to Obtain
==============================================================================

The armour can be crafted, providing you have the relevant smithing perks, or it can be obtained from Gunmar in Fort Dawnguard. You will need to be of a high enough level in order for them to appear in his shop though.

Requirements
==============================================================================

This mod only requires Dawnguard.

Future Goals
==============================================================================

Currently I am working on Elven and Glass Light Dawnguard armor. I may also make material variants of the dawnguard axe and hammer. I am also planning to add the armor to the Dawnguard members.

Miscellaneous
==============================================================================

If you enjoy the mod please rate and favorite, if this mod proves popular enough I may MMV more armor types.
If you have any questions, suggestions or bugs please let me know in the comments.

DO NOT POST ABOUT STEAM ERROR 2
I am aware of this issue, it is a problem with Steam which seems to sometimes effect Texture based mods. Hopefully my planned re-upload will fix this issue soon. In the mean time this mod is also available on the Skyrim Nexus[skyrim.nexusmods.com] to download.

Yes. I really have loved the fur armor (im using Frostfall) And im sick of having to decide between protection or warmth. Please make versions for everything!!!

How about making something like this for normal armour sets for skyrim? that would be a good project. Nice work.

I really like this mod. This is my favorite armor model in the game. Easily the best looking light armor IMO. Dragon (light and heavy), ebony, and daedric versions would be cool additions. The default light helmet is kind of lame though. The glass helmet looks much better with this armor. Unfortunatley it only looks right with the glass version of the d-guard armor. Some alternitive light helmets that would allow for a matched set would be an awesome addition to an already great mod. Thanks for making it!

cool. I'd like to see more of this. I have a rogue whose thieve's guild armor can no longer keep up with what I'm up against but I hate the look of glass armor

this is actually a great mod idea, do named characters actually wear the new armours or do they just use the basic ones?
