Hunted is Greenlit.
We're 50% of the way to the top 100
Release date: TBA
Hunted is a game that was made during the 7 day fps challenge.

It is a game of survival when the odds are stacked against you. It aims to simulate the intensity of being shot at in a real life situation. Gunshots are fatal.

You are being tracked by a deranged hunter who is intent on killing you. He has provided you with a way to escape, but it's going to be a difficult journey. Ahead of you lies a treacherous environment filled with countless dangers. You have to carefully sneak your way through using the environment and precise timing to avoid being shot and killed.

The game is in an early alpha stage and we have the following features planned for the full version:
  • A continuation of the storyline (find out what really happened to John).
  • A bigger world that will challenge your skills.
  • AI that is tough but fair.
  • Various hazards including mines, mercenary patrols and other hidden traps.
  • Smoke grenades.
  • Items that can be picked up and used as makeshift cover or distractions.
  • Destructible cover.
  • Multiplayer.

Thanks, Johnyliltoe. Yes, it's still in Production. It's taking a tad longer than we expected, but we don't want to rush it. We're developing more focused maps after a ton of iterations. We found that smaller encounters are way more intense than one large watered down environment.

Hey, sorry for your loss. Just revisited this game for a gaming blog I write and was wondering if it went anywhere past the game jam. Glad to see it's greenlit and still in production.

Hi @Bazror. Sorry for the later reply. We should have something playable by the end of the year. We suffered a big setback in development this year. One of our primary developers tragically passed away. We are still committed to the project though, so stay tuned. :)

Any news about the game ?

Hi @Chronoxx98. Sorry for the late reply. This is an account we've created specifically for Hunted, so we don't spend a lot of time using it other than to respond to messages. We're glad you like Hunted and yes we're still working hard on it. It's gone through a ton of iterations, but it's definitely getting there. We'll probably release another free demo once it's ready for Early Access, so you guys can preview it before spending money on it. The early access price will be between $10 and $15.

Hi @BobTheBacon. Thanks for the positive reinforcement. Game development can get tough sometimes.

Awesome, can't wait. Take as long as you need too, it's better to release a game late than trash early. I am very impressed with your team of 3 people too! Good luck, and thanks for responding to my question.
