The updated version includes random biomes and better LudiKRIS map-size support.

In this version of my Black Forest Rivers map there is more open space and less forest so you have more space to build up your base without blocking up all the paths. This has been requested by several players including Aeneas. I decided to make a different version instead of updating the existing version because I think the dense forest and smaller clearings also appeal to a lot of people as well.

Note: although I have increased the overall percentage and size of clearings, it is still possible to spawn in a small circular clearing surrounded by forest except for one connection. Because of the way I had to script the rivers and player lands, there is no way to completely prevent this from happening, without ruining the feel of the forest. However, by increasing the size and number of grass clearings, this should happen less frequently.

@Ozhara i dont know but i think it's a problem of aoe2 itself because i have skyrim and i can download 200 mods if i would like to or more, so maybe the game cant handle it or steam has a bug and needs to fix it :l

How many mods do you use? After 30 active mods, steam ignores further subscriptions.
If you unsubscribe some, they are taken into account correctly.

To not loose some mods changes, just unsubscribe mods just adding stuff instead of changing.
Additional files not delivered with the game itself aren't deleted by steam when verifying your game cache.

THANKS Zetnus. Unsunscribing to all my subscriptions then resubscribing to the maps I didn't see seems to have worked!

For those of you having trouble finding the map - are you subscribed to more than 30 mods? if so, unsubscribe from a couple of scenarios (they will not be deleted by unsubscribing, so you can safely do that).
Also, here is a temporary alternative download link (dropbox): https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/48628193/Black%20Forest%20Rivers%20v1.1%20%282%29.zip
take the files out of the zip archive

And put the file in the random folder in your AoE II HD directory

Likea couple others here I'm not finding the map under Custom in the game. I subscribed, and relaunched, and unsubscribed, and resubscribed. Any simple ways to test what's going on?
