The Elemental Shield is a classic shield from the game, Runescape. It provided magical attributes as well as resistances from certain magics. I decided to bring it to Skyrim to further my collection of Runescape mods. While the item doesn't EXACTLY fit in with the typical look of Skyrim, I feel as a magical shield, it does at least have some merit because of it's funky appearance.

Both model and textures were created by me using 3ds Max 2011/2014 and Photoshop CS6.

You will need to travel to Reachcliff Cave and defeat the 4 elementals that surround the Elemental Forge. Once that is done, you will need to mine Elemental Ore, smelt it and forge the shield. All need materials are found at this location. If you have already visited this area, I would suggest walking from a close by location as to not get mobbed by Elementals.

NOTE: This is my first time trying to use a .bsa compressed file instead of a rar. If there are any problems, let me know.

Uninstall Instructions:

Unsubscribe via Steam

Simply delete the following files/folders:

Q. What does this shield actually do?
A. The Elemental Shield wards damage similar to the Spellbreaker but slightly weaker. However, it also provides 20% resistance against elemental attacks, as well as increasing Magicka. The upgraded version is significantly stronger.

Q. Will you be making the newer Elemental Workshop shields?
A. No. Anything that came out after I quit is very unlikely.

Known Issues:

1. Elemental Ore nodes don't seem to display that they are depleted. This is being looked into.

If for some reason the files do not work, cause crashes
or any other problems, please do not hesitate to contact me.

All screenshots are taken directly from the game and resized down from 1920x1080 to 1280x720. No other editing has been done.

Thanks and I hope you enjoy this Skyrim Mod!

Make runescape armor! You can use iron armor, and just retexture them. Like bronze, rune ....

I know it's probably a little late to suggest this, but I think these would be perfect to be crafted with the Atronach Forge under the college.

@matthew cook They would probably look pretty good, however I have no plans to create such items!

Hmm... where to begin. I could drone on about this for hours. Well first off. Most of your godswords are "out of date designs." Meaning that they aren't as well. Cool looking. I, despite disputes have been a member of runescape since 2003. Honestly the new runescape, is WAY better. I would LOVE a Bandos armor set. Preferably Dharok's. Or even the "traditional" Bandos. Even renaming and retexturing coins would be awesome. You could possibly even do the god armors. Like Rune Zamorak, or Saradomin. AND even Party Hats. Amulets such as the amulet of glory, and strength amulet would make a good edition. The gnome scarf, the top hat, and even elegant clothing. Maybe, going out on a limb here, a dragon armor set with golden trim, or no golden trim. Also these shields, are absolutely MIND blowing. Ha ha. Get it. MIND. Ha ha. The textures are just stunning. I would love even the basic style of leveling. You could do many fun things with this.

@Slouista If a location of a mod makes you uncomfortable, then best you stay away from mods and keep to the vanilla game.
