My Nigerian Prince: a tale of unrequited e-mail
Description
Release date: 2016
''A story of modern adult malaise meets childlike fantasy.''

The Beard in the Mirror is a point-and-click adventure game about a boy who doesn't know who he is, where he's going, or how he fits into his world. But not because he's an amnesiac; he's just a typical 22-year-old who still doesn't know what he wants to be when he grows up.

As far as he knows, he's never once traveled outside his own universe—but the beautiful girl who wakes him up in the middle of one stormy night seems to think otherwise...

Key features
  • Old-school point-and-click adventure game inspired by 90s classics
  • Sincere yet lighthearted story with magic, danger, romance, and adventure
  • The possibility of death! (Although you'll never lose any progress.)
  • Character-driven plot with inventory-based puzzles
  • Retro points system to help you track your progress and see if you've missed any secrets...
  • From the writer/designer of Life in the Dorms[marketplace.xbox.com] on Xbox Live

Press
There's no zombies, explosions or multiplayer but there's plenty of dialogue trees and puzzles which is exactly what I'm looking for in an adventure game.
Alasdair Duncan, Destructoid
...a LucasArts/Sierra-inspired point-and-click style, a story of modern adult malaise-meets-childlike fantasy, and an absolutely charming husband-and-wife team that are infectiously passionate about their creation.
Jillian Werner, GameZebo[www.gamezebo.com]

The Beard in the Mirror is a collaborative work by the wife-and-husband team of Lizo (a Sierra fangirl) and Paul (a LucasArts fanboy). It started off as a hobby project that over the years blossomed into a full-on point-and-click adventure game—complete with challenging puzzles with wacky solutions, dangerous mishaps (and even death!), and a story about how to find oneself once the world's finally figured out you're an adult.

Trailer background track by Kevin MacLeod[incompetech.com].

Ok, this game needs to be on Steam, it's point and click adventure, there are not many of these on Steam. :)

The first PC games I ever played were point and click games (Quest for Glory, King's Quest). I am looking forward to playing this game and hope it is on Steam soon.

I really like the idea of player as a no-life neckbeard. It would be just like my life!
