Description
The linchpin of NATO's occupying force is a triplet of AMV-7 Marshall armoured personnel carriers that operates out of the NATO maintenance yard. Local resistance groups are reluctant to strike so long as this armoured element is combat effective. Ambush the APC relief crews and them disable the NATO APCs to facilitate a local uprising.

This mission supports on-the-fly switching between day and night.

Difficulty: Easy-Normal

Great mission, just the scope could have been better. Most of the enemies where 400-500m away.
Very fun, although I didn't know I was on a time crunch as soon as I reached the AAF hideout. I sat at the ammo box for 10 minutes trying to plan when "Ambush - failed" flashed. Then I ran over the hill and a NATO AA sniped me. :(

Do the APCs need to be destroyed, or just heavely damaged? 1 satchel charge only seems to take out the wheels and I didn't have enough to make every APC explode.

@floutek

You probably know this already, but Greif is the German word for "seize" and was famously painted onto the side of Romel's command halftrack during the North Africa campaign (see, e.g., here: http://www.afvnews.org/images/greif.jpg). Since the halftrack was the precursor to the modern day APC, it seemed like an apt name for this mission.
