The Tip
This is just a feature that people may overlook when using their maps. I didn't notice this until I already found about 1000 data clusters on my own, so maybe this could help someone out before they make the same mistake.

This is ONLY after unlocking the Collectible Finder upgrade.

When you open your map, you can click on COLLECTIBLES (or scroll through using F1 by default), and it will highlight the collectibles/data clusters on the map that you have not found yet. This would allow you to use your GPS with the map to directly locate the items you haven't found.

This would be confusing to some people as the collectibles/cluster icons are hidden when "ALL" is selected, but are revealed when you click on "COLLECTIBLES". I was personally looking around all areas of the map and using the minimap to figure out where things were.

I hope this saves someone the trouble that I went through for my data clusters!

Wow, i really didn't know that. I knew the collectables would show up on the radar, but i didn't know you could select it from the map and have them visible that way. What a tremendous help that will be. Thanks alot dude.

You didn't over look it, the game designers just are really bad at conveying information to the player.

You will learn during the game that clusters locked "inside" the surface of walls and floors can be released by using buffs like freeze throwing and stomping. Unfortunately, a super stomp close to a road will probably hurt passengers and alarm the police.

There are no clusters "inside" buildings, as far as I remember. But they may be on roof tops. One audio log was well hidden on a part of the red tower. So it is very useful to know how to jump-on-and-run-up walls...
