Here are a series of cubes. Can you find out what links them together in order to solve the path to the exit?

Note: this is a medium sized puzzle. It may take you a bit to complete it. Difficulty should be around medium though.

v1.0: Initial release
v1.1: minor changes to make things less weird
v1.2: fixed a few small exploits.
v2.0: Redesign of exit area, fixed a few exploits and blue gel is now an additional assignment, because it is gone when you reload a safe state.
v2.1: Prevented ways to get stuck and added a little bit of extra challenge (otherwise it would allow for bypassing)
v2.2: Prevented a small exploit and made it even a bit more challenging. All still following the intentional solution, so should make it easier to find that.

It has been a while since I played the map, but I think that is by design. The other 2 cubes spawn later when you solve a puzzle.

I tried restarting the map, I still only get two cubes.

@Piotr_mil: hmm, thats odd. If you replay the map do you get 4? I'm not sure there's anything I can do about this.

I had a very weird problem in this map: instead of 4 reflection cubes, only two fell were dropped.

I finally gave the updated version a try. It is pretty different from before and this time the sphere behaved as it should too. It was really wierd what it was doing before. I like the changes concerning the blue gel. This works much better.
I have to say I was vastly confused for a few minutes when I recieved a 3rd reflector cube. It took a few minutes to deduce my next move after that when what I was expecting was the laser field turning off.

I've updated the map. The first hint no longer applies. Yes, paint is still gone on a reload, but its now a mandatory action to spawn the paint, and that action can be easily repeated.

Made it to the exit. The large rooms make this test somewhat disorienting. All in all I enjoyed solving the test but I think I would prefer it if the exit was a bit more visible from the beginning ... maybe you can work with glass to achieve that? I recorded a video of my way to the exit , blind run recording somehow didn't work. It took me something between 20 and 30 minutes to exit I think.

HINT: Read me if you have placed the sphere on its socket.
The sphere will trigger blue paint on the lightbridge. If you quicksave/reload, that paint will be gone. In order to get the paint back, you will have to press the pedestal button to respawn the sphere.

HINT2: Read me if you see the exit door, but the chamber seemed to contain a flaw.
If you think the chamber is faulty, the lasercatcher probably seems too high. This is because your path is not right.
