Getting Started
Okay cant get started right off the go, have to do like the first few missions, like tutorials. After 2nd or 3rd Mission you should be pretty good to go and they cover most of the basics.

So now your out of the newbie tutorials and you wanna do things your way with out the game telling u what to do. Well the way I play is to make Money, Money, Money, Means everything, so here is what I am going to tell you to do, if you do not wish to do so then fine.

1st your gonna wanna get a Distillery up, it can make up to 32 bottle of whiskey and 37 if you have a Flophouse. Reason being is whiskey sells for greater amounts than beer on the market , firesale, and also your venues.

2nd would recommend a pawn shop. It provides fire arms for you to do nasty things like drive bys and fire bombs. They are also need to for some of the upgrades on your venues and some missions

3rd Brewery, it makes about 45 bottles of beer, 55 with a Flophouse. Reason is it provides the half of your Nightclub revenue along with Whiskey, and it also can be sold at your Boxing Arena's.

4th Don Pizzerio, it helps your Fear rating by about 30 if fully upgraded.

5th Pharmacy, Great for selling that Whiskey you got stacken up in your cargo. This Venue can make you about $$2200 a day if you supply the 40 whiskey.

Okay you should be seeing some money roll in now. You can sell 30 beer to the Speakeasy for $600 and it also improves there mood towards you. You can either buy them out or just wait and use them for and escape goat when your heat level is maxed. At this point it becomes just another Empty medium rented lot.

Later on in game you should be doing something like this every map, cause i have no problems with these ratio's

1 Pizzerio 2 Brewery 3 Distillery 1 Nightclubs, 1 Hotel 1 Lawyer 3 Boxing Arena's 2 Bookmaker 1 Flophouse 1 Cosino 1 Pawn Shop 1 Pharmacy 1 Soup Kitchen anything else just make sure you check your numbers so u dont run out of Beer and Whiskey also maybe a Labor Union and A Loan Shark but these 2 last in your build.

Reason for all this is everything counts on numbers of your production. 2 Breweries produce 90 to 110 Beer now that provides 50 to Nightclub and 45 to your 3 Boxing Arena's. 3 Distilleries produce 99 to 111 Whiskey , 50 to Nightclub and 40 to Pharmacy.

You may be asking why only 1 Pharmacy or 3 Boxing Arena's , well i guess you could put more in but with that you will have to buy the beer and Whiskey they need to sell to make greater profits, so logisticly its just not a smart idea.

Nightclub makes $$5400/day, Boxing Arena $2250/day, Bookmaker $1430/day, Pharmacy $$2240/day, Casino $2500/day (dependant on your like lvl), Hotel $$550/day (Boost Nightclubs,Speakeasies,Boxing Arena's,Casino's), Flophouse $$55/day (Boost Distilleries,Breweries,Smugglers)

Now onto weapons, weapons are sold via the police and crime lords, you usally gotta bride/send present to get on good enough terms to buy the weapons. To Equip them just Double click your char profile on main screen, click Equip on the left hand side and then pick the weapon u want to Equip and click Equip at the bottom middle of screen.

I like to make sure my chars have around 14AP (action points) and 12MP (Movement Points) Also high Finesse for your shooters, Hight Smarts for you helper. I dont usually Use brawlers when i Play and i try to use guys that can heal themselves or somedody else. Perks I choose are usually ones that will increase my Finesse or Cunning which increase AP and MP also Savvy ,Savvy2 ,Vengeful, longshot, Deadeye,Fleet of feet if you need more MP, Ranged specialist 1 and 2. You can build them how ever you like and it only cost $500 to respec so its not a big deal. You can arm that how you like, I try to go with tommy guns or shot guns, or even the Revolvers, that way you shoot multiple targets.

The rest I'll Leave up to you guys, if you have questions feel free to ask, I'll do my best to answer.

I want to add something. You are forgetting how good the safe house actually is. Sure, it sounds pretty lame but it is rather effective. Not only does it boost all premise buildings such as distillery and Brewery by 10%, it also lowers heat. The lower of heat might not sound so good as it only does so very slightly, but it is very efficient when it comes to high police risk. With a Lawyer and a safe house you will basically not get any heat no matter what you do. You lose heat faster then you gain it.

I also think you really do not need 3 Distillery and 2 Brewery. The Brewery might have a point when you really start boosting that nightclub, but 2 Distillery with a couple of boosters such as flophouse or two and safe house is enough to provide for a nightclub and a casino.

I would takeout the soup kitchen and build some more labor union. Especially when Like/Fear rating is high. Soup kitchen is not too helpful in the late game when you could up your Like rating by doing more Charity Event.
