Description
An old-school rogue-like where ascii characters rule the realm and interact with beautiful particle effects!

Key differentiators between this and other Rogue-like's:
. Particle effects! Fireballs aren't just * moving around!
. Monster's have interesting behavior. Some are pack animals and will flee if there aren't enough around. Mini-bosses will react intelligently to player behavior.
. Designed to be a short game. Estimated time (assuming you win) is 2 hours per game.
. Maps are pre-generated, but the selection of which maps are in play is random.
. A high difficulty level. There is no natural healing in the game, and there is no instant healing.

I ended up changing jobs and my current employment contract forbids me from outside work. Still wrangling with the legal department about it, unfortunately.

There's still plenty of issues and features missing - this is an alpha build - don't expect a perfect Beta.

stel - I find that on smaller screens (phone/tablet) - I greatly prefer the 3D view. At the same time, the map _is_ actually 3D, so aside from some tiles being used to represent depth (trenches / bushes / walls), I'm not sure how I'm going to handle that in 2D mode.
At the same time - even on my desktop 27" monitor, I prefer the 3D view at this point.

NaPompie - I have older builds available that you're welcome to try. What platform would you like a build for?
