Redwall Civilization (BNW)

This mod adds the Redwall Civilization led by Martin the Warrior to the game. It does NOT replace any existing Leaders/Civs. This version will only work for Brave New World.

Leader: Martin the Warrior
Unique Ability: Celebratory Feasts
+25% Food Production in cities. Free Walls in the Capital.

Unique Unit: Long Patrol (replaces Swordsman)
Ignores terrain cost to move, Heals 5HPper turn outside of friendly territory, and gains +25% Defense. Does not require Iron to build.

Unique Building: Great Hall (replaces Amphitheater)
Provides +2 Culture and +2 Happiness. 1 Great Work of Writing Slot.

I love the Redwall mythos and had a lot of fun playing this. My only concern is that it seems a little OP. My cities grew to ridiculous sizes pretty quick and I stomped everyone else pretty badly. It was one of the biggest beatdowns I've ever delivered and I've logged more than 3K hours. (I ran it on Emperor level which I start with all new mods to get used to it). But I appreciate your effort and will give a thumbs up! Thanks!

The Celebratory Feast as a special is FANTASTIC. Let's be honest; Redwall is about woodland creatures, war, and food.

Really fun Civ mod. Just finished a quick game, Redwall Abbey had a pop of 25 or so in 1850. I alos appreciated that LP was buildable even into the modern era so the unique characteristics weren't cut off in the case off casualties.

The problem with Long Patrol not upgrading to Longswordsmen has been corrected. Sorry for the ridiculous wait on the update.

Okay, I can't believe this hasn't come up before now as a problem... but now that I finally got the code from somebody, it looks like they don't upgrade until Riflemen. Which I'm pretty sure is a mistake on my part. When you first asked, I thought I "might" have purposely set them to upgrade to Musketmen, but... they shouldn't have been delayed to Riflemen.

I'm not equipped to fix this right now, else I'd push out an update right away. But I'll be sure to do so as soon as possible. For now, they do upgrade at Riflemen. (But if you get a unit upgrade from Ancient Ruins, then they WILL actually upgrade to Longswordsmen from that.)
