Phantom Free Horse, slower version

***** He is a slower version of the original horse. Choose this file or the other but not both. *****

Phantom is a major upgrade to Shadowmere. Phantom is free and can be found at Katla's Stables right where the carriage drops you off in solitude. Just ride him and he is yours. No need to pay. Once you ride him, he stays with you loyally. No wandering horse nonsense. He has extremely high stamina and health. He will fight enemies for you and NOT get killed. He will stay with you for the duration.

This horse is nothing short of amazing. If you want him, just go to the stables and take him for free. He's the best horse in all of Skyrim and specially made for the dragonborn who needs a powerful horse for all the trouble dragonborn manages to find. And you don't have to do the Dark Brotherhood to get him!

If you have creation kit you can open the mod and find the names of the horses and slow their speed. I can't keep adding different mods with different speeds but I am fine with people altering to suit their needs. It's quite easy. Just download the creation kit and the look up how to create a follower. As you go through seeing how that is done you will see that there is a tab on the character that shows the speed. Drop it by 50 for all the horses then test it. Search for them under the actor tab then narrow the search by typing x I think. I generally use X as the start of a name in my mods because it makes them easier to find. When you find the horse just go to the tab and where the speed is, drop it by 50 or even 75. Save it then test it in your game. Do this until it suits you. Then you have your own ideal mod for you rather than relying on me to make a million version of the. Isn't that so much better?

This is my favorite version of this mod. Fast but not OP fast. Cool looking horse. I wonder if a back-story about how the "Phantom Horses" came to be is in the works?

GUYS!! i have a really good idea!! if you have it, you should be a vamp with this horse. It doesn't lag my computer, and when your a vamp, it really suits the feel. Ya know?

Nice. I'll let her know.

This one goes slower than the other so there shouldn't be lag. I made this version so that people could use him if they had slower laptops. I think the original has a speed of 350 or 300 and this I think is 200. It was a while ago, but it's a good pace that shouldn't cause the kind of lag older systems might get but keeps it pretty fast nevertheless.

Just one question: how fast does this version of phantom go? I have the other version which I love because he can zip across skyrim in no time, but my mom downloaded phantom and had trouble because her computer is an older one and the original was lagging for her due to its speed, but she does want a horse that's slightly faster than Shadowmere.

Then there is a conflict if it's only happening since you installed Mod Castle Grey. Something in the stable might overwrite horses and mess with phantom so that he returns to a normal unowned horse.

I love the mod, but for some reason Phantom keeps walking off on me each time i get off him... When i fast travel he is always there waiting but as soon as I get off him again he heads back to his origional stable.. this only seems to have happened after I installed the Mod Castle Grey and it had a stable.
