Description
!!!-IMPORTANT-!!!

this is a old vertion on my mod, if you think:
1. the lions are to powerful
2. there are too many lions
3. you are encountering a Nav mesh error
there are fixes and new vertions on the 'Skyrim Nexus' website the link is below:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12647/?

please do not comment on any of the above issues as they have been resolved
thanks for your support and i hope you enjoy my mod

-----PRIDES OF SKYRIM v1.2-----

This mod adds some variation to Skyrim's wildlife: Three new creatures, Lions, Lionesses and Panthers, with new textures. Prides of Lions inhabit Skyrim's Whiterun Hold, Reach, and Eastmarch. They live in their dens and lairs complete with bones, blood, and dead stuff. Panthers are rare and solitary animals and inhabit the swamps of Hjaalmarch. Their lairs are often used to hide in and decorate them with prey that they store in the trees.

There are 73 Lions, 220 Lionesses and 17 of the rare Panthers, all custom-placed with patrols and idle markers.

Lions, Lionesses and Panthers are all assigned the ENC (encounter) value, which means that you can encounter them at any time, regardless of your level. Lions are level 50, Lionesses are level 40 and Panthers are level 45, so they are very powerful for anyone under level 40, and they are almost never alone. It's best you sneak around them!

Skyrim's Lions use classic hunting techniques to hunt and take down prey. They will strike quick and fast, and then circle and repeat. This makes it very hard for you to focus your fire on just one. It also means they occasionally smack into each other...

Skyrim’s Panthers are one of Skyrim’s rarest big cats. They are ambush predators and hide in the bushes around their lairs waiting for something unfortunate to walk by. Even though panthers are solitary they are still a force to be reckoned with, they are faster then a lion and are know not to tire easily.

Good luck navigating the outdoors, and I hope you enjoy this mod!

If I get enough subscriptions, I will be adding more prides, including Snow Lions for northern Skyrim. Or possibly a Horker mod with large numbers of Horkers and Horker species, like you see with Walruses.

The lions are OP as hell, but the male is just the worst. It literally took six people and three animal companions to take the male down (Esbern, Delphine, Vilkas, Farkas, Njada Stonearm and myself, Meeko, gg77's Black Panther summoned cat and Wyntho the talking Sabre Cat companion). It was so awesome though--I was looking for Meeko because he got lost and I saw him fighting two lionesses and when I tried to help two more popped, when they all died, I went after the male and he was OP as fuck. And that's not a bad thing at all; it's freaking awesome.

I manage to solve the problem, thankyou for the suggestion. I don't think I'd have realised that on my own.

I don't think I turned it off, do I need to re-subscribe, turn it off and then unsubscribe?
Frank the Fish  [author] Oct 29, 2015 @ 9:09pm
did you turn it off before you unsubscribed? somtimes it buggs i think
Nicolas Cage Oct 29, 2015 @ 3:30pm
I've uninstalled the mod, but I still keep finding and getting killed by lions. Do I need to do more than just unsubscribe to get rid of them?
