It changes the beach, water and shallow textures and their blendings to ones fitting this theme. (So it can be used with any other terrain textures!)
It's inspired by Empire Earth, were you also were able to play in space.

Yes, only modsalready upgraded to the new steam workshop system do work.

I just had to stop upgrading my mods to 4.x for the mod manager is not able to handle my amount of mods in an acceptable way for now.
I spoke to morness about this and the icons you can see beside the mods now are a first (small) step towards what we came up with for the still to be implemented overhaul.

I hoped this would be done days ago - but as you can see there are many other issues too - and game breaking bugs are more important than optimizing the mod manager. But morness said to come back to it at the end of this or beginning of the next week. So I'm looking forward to upgrade all my mods at the end of the next week!

idk why but for some reason this mod isnt working for me. when i make a new map with water its just water and when i paint water terrain its just water. i have the new bridge mod too and its still the vanilla bridge

Beside new units are REALLY time consuming - would have used SW-GB ones - there are only two options: units without shadows - would look weird and you'd have no information regarding above which tile they are actually flying/placed.
Second one: units with shadows - different from SW GB that uses an updated version of AoEs engine and is coded to have flying units - AoE doesn't use additional graphics/layers for unit shadows but only one that contains the unit as well as its shadow. For non-flying units it's ok, most of them aren't that big and the shadow is right beside the unit.
For flying units this creates some really weird effects on screen for the graphic does overlap with others in a 'wrong' way.

Could increase melee resistance to infinity and make only ranged attack able to do damage on X flying unit. And for the visual do one of those graphical illusions that makes it *seem* to fly. Maybe :)?

Would be great if flying units were actually doable...
(AoE isn't able to separate shadows from units, so the shadow would be interpreted as a part of the units which looks really weird on flying units for to distance between them)
