I could tell you who the killer is, but I would have to kill then. I could tell you all the conspiracies are true, but I couldnt prove it. I could tell the whole story, but I prefer that you play it and find it all out, if you can.

Selling Points:
  • Point and click
  • Multiple possible paths
  • Top-down camera
  • Comic book art style
  • Great and unique story

Tattoo is a combination of point-and-click and exploration games. Here, real and virtual world are merged, producing greater immersion. Real world news are present in the game, and are part of the plot.

The Story
This guy stays awake every night studying news and searching for facts that support the conspiracy he claims to exist. Today he woke up in his bedroom after quite the night, with a huge hangover. Maybe today is the day he may prove this conspiracy actually exists. Or maybe, this is the day it will catch him.
Explore every place looking for items, clues and new possibilities to solve the game situations. But remember: every action has consequences, and there is not just one way to finish each level.

It looks kind of like hotline miami with the top down style, maybe the guy is investigating all the murders from that game

Definite potential. Adventure games of the point and click variety have been gone to long and top down is very interesting way to avoid the depth of field issues like in the sprite only LucasArts days. Some spelling issues as well but I am sure they can be ironed out

The other issue I noticed was one of control- some people have noted wonky animations but what stood out for me was the difficulty the player had getting out of the door in the second apartment, looks like it took a few attempts. Is it controlled by clicking where you want to go or by holding a direction?

At any rate, if the story is solid and exploration rewarded then there is nothing stopping this becoming a top notch game. The first is more important that the second, if there is no action something needs to hold the players attention, though from what I saw in the documents the story has been thought out.

Very interesting Idea, but the animations could use a bit of work if the movie is an accurate representation.
