Althirs Camping Tools - Portable Fire and Tent

Description
Althirs Camping Tools - Portable Fire and Tent

This Mod adds some portable and useable camping tools to the Game.

At the blacksmith Alvor in Riverwood you can buy a small and a big tent, a campfire, a bedroll, a bench, a cooking pot, a scanning reg, a target, a chopping block and a Alchemy and Armor Workbanch. And you can turn every normal Firewood into a nice campfire with working light and sound. To use the items just put them on the ground and activate them while you are sneaking. To deactivate the appeared objects activate them while you are sneaking, too. Then you can collect the portable items by activate them without sneaking.

To install just copy the scripts and the esm into your Data folder and activate the esm. Run the game and travel to Anvor in Riverwood where you can buy the camping tools.

If you installed a previous version it might be possible that you have to save the game without this mod first, then enabeling the mod and save again.

Have fun with your new camping equipment :-)

Thanks goes to ANB (Fire and Tents in Oblivion) and Elec0 (Skyrimnexus) for their scripts.
And now to Mcxar too, because I now used one of his scripts. The other scripts are mostly inspired by Elec0. And to Bethesda Softworks of course, because they made such wonderful role playing games and give us the possibility to create our own contest (I played their games since Daggerfall andI I've fallen in love with each game of the TES Series :-)

Update 12.03.2012: Uploaded a new version with very small changes on the scripts. In the older versions the tools sometimes disappeared when a companion used them. Now everything should working fine.

Update 30.03.2012:Uploaded a new version with a tree stump to sit and with very small changes on the scripts. Now the items get back into your inventory automatically if you placed the static object.

Update 09.09.2012:Added a anvil, a enchanting workbench and a sharpening wheel.

Update 19.11.2012: Now compatible with the
Frostfall - Hypothermia Camping Survival mod (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11163/?tab=3&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodimages%2F%3Fuser%3D0%26id%3D11163)

this is actually a very good mod works well with other mods with out crashing the game. It does come in handy plus I like the idea of setting up camp with a group of guards, or solders or warriors. It's a bit hard trying to find a mod a that you can summon of a group or more and have them follow you and making camp like having your own army and own town or city. but this is a very good mod still have it in game, just needed two more mods ones with solders or warriors, and to have my own city. Sometime people call me odd cause i would like a mod to help join forces of either stormcloaks or imperials with a city and own warriors or solder that well camp and guard and so on. still use the camping anyways now if i can just get my followers to sleep when i do.

I love this mod, but one issue I have with it is that the bedrolls in the tents and just the bedrolls by themselves aren't owned by the player, meaning I can't get the "Well Rested" effect from sleeping in them. Is there any way to fix this without using the console? As I have many mods that rely on getting this effect to regenerate health, increase speed, gain experience, spend perk points, and regenerate spell levels, I hate having to run to the nearest town and rent a room, or buy a house just to sleep in. Thanks.

Been using this mod for years now. Been a great help, although the game mechanics itself makes it so you need to adjust your position when dropping an item. The small tent is a bit glitchie, but just sneak and pick it up and its all good.

I don't have any problems with this mod, it's really good and amazing, and it goes along very well with another mod I have that lets me place fast travel points. 10/10

Not too bad. The only issues I've come across are A) Getting stuck when I try to pitch the small tent and B) Items I place on the ground don't set up where I want them too (I'll try to set tent, bed roll, etc. in front of me but it ends up setting up behind me instead most of the time). Still, it's a nice little camp mod and since my fav camp mod doesn't seem to be available anymore (either that or it's buried in the workshop somewhere. It's been a while since I played and lost all the mods I use to have and can't remember half the names of them) this is a decent replacement.

Do I have to buy everything to make this mod work?
