Description
What is Sandman: Escape From Dreamland

It's after lunch on a warm summers day. Martin is trapped in an important, if not boring, meeting and is desperately trying to keep his eyes open. Slowly he nods off to sleep. Suddenly he "awakens" to find the Sandman, who informs him of his fate. Sandman has lost his power and they are both stuck. Help Martin regain the Sandman's power and escape dreamland. To do this you must run, jump, slide or otherwise traverse through various dreams to collect hourglasses, the source of Sandman's power. Guide Martin on the journey of a lifetime as you traverse surreal and wonderful dreamscapes using your epic platforming skills. Watch out for McCoy, Sandman's dastardly nemesis.

Sandman: Escape From Dreamland is a 3D platformer for PC. We designed this game to be similar to console style 3D platformers, because we feel this is a genre that the PC is somewhat lacking in at the moment. The is currently in alpha state and has a dozen levels completed. The final game will have over 80 levels split between 16 different worlds.

This game looks like it has kind of a Mario 64 feel too it, although I'm not sure on the depth of field. I've played a few 3D platformers on the computer before, and I've noticed it's a bit difficult calculating jump distances...
