This mod is part of the Improved Artifacts Collection, which can be found at this link:

Improved stats for Auriel’s Bow, including a new enchantment that has a different effect when wielded by a vampire or mortal character.

You can now customize the visual effects that occur when hitting a foe with an arrow from Auriel’s Bow. See the customization section below for details.

Damage: 13 (Equivalent to an Elven Bow)
Value: 2250
Enchantment: 20 points of Sun Fire damage, with an extra 40 points if the target is undead.
Uses: Charge/Cost = 1000/38 = 26 uses

Damage: 21 (Slightly better than a Dragonbone Bow, which is 20)
Value: 25,000 (Essentially priceless)

Enchantment: 35 points of Sun Fire damage. Double damage against the undead.
Uses: Charge/Cost = 0/0 = unlimited

Enchantment: 35 points of Blood Fire damage. 50% more damage against mortals (i.e. anyone who isn’t undead, a Daedra or a Dragon).

The customization in this mod is handled using console commands (for more information, see this link: To use a command, open up the console and type: “Set A to B”, where A is the command name and B is a value. The console commands and their effects are given below:

ZABI_Major (Possible Values: 1 or 0)
Default: 1
There are two visual effects that can be inflicted by both the Sun Fire and Blood Fire enchantments. Against normal opponents, it will be a fairly normal shader. However, when striking a target that is weak to the effect (i.e. when Sun Fire strikes an undead or when Blood Fire strikes a mortal), it will create an enormous flame. This flame can be switched off by setting this value to 0. It can be switched on again by making this value 1.

ZABI_Minor (Possible Values: 1 or 0)
Default: 1
If, for whatever reason, you don’t want the shader to play, set this command to 0.

There are no known bugs associated with this mod.

Is this mod compatible with Daedric Artifacts Improved: Dawnguard Version?

Does this mod still allow the use of Sunhallowed Elven Arrows and Bloodcursed Elven Arrows?
Yes. Firing a Sunhallowed Elven Arrow at the sun from Auriel’s Bow will still cause the sunburst effect, and then Bloodcursed Elven Arrows will still block out the sun.

hi. iknow u have in the auriel shiled in daedric artifects improved: dawngurd version. but can u make a mod only for the sheild like u did with the bow?

Yes, you need the Elven smithing perk

geo88neo...hang on, are you talking about the well from Daedric Artifacts Improved? Because if you improve Auriel's Bow in that well, it won't work need to restore it to it's original settings to get it working again. so go back to the well and remake it
