Description
Release date: First half of 2014.
Fable Kart is (as you might have already guessed:)) a kart game, designed to be fast, fun and easy.

In many ways it is modeled after the classic titles of the genre. Various elements of gameplay will be familiar: power-ups to be picked up on the track, silly special moves that give you some advantage, and such.

But we also have a few new ideas. We are planning to include innovative (really! wait and see!) multiplayer modes, with a strong emphasis on teamwork. And actually, we are not planning to include a single player mode at all -- because let’s face it, in a kart game multiplayer is what counts. So instead we will have a points system, that advances the storyline and grants unlocks to the players based on their results in races. Also, the special moves will be strongly focused on creating mayhem on the track, disrupting the race of your opponents.

In short, the general idea is to extract the best of old kart games, spice it up with a good chunk of new elements and finally get the right combination of speed, simplicity and chaos.

The setting of the game is losely based on the animal characters from Aesop’s fables, so the visual style is rather on the cute side. But make no mistake: under all that fluffiness, competition knows no bounds.

And btw, we would love to hear from you! Let us know if you like the concept, if you think we should add something or actually send us any feeedback you might have.

Voting no because there's no content to vote on. You can't put a game on Greenlight with insignificant content. No footage of gameplay, a few work-in-progress screen shots with no other players and what looks to be the same map (unless every level looks like that, I hope not), and then mostly concept art. The description is very lacking, just obscurely talking about the game. It needs to go into detail about the power ups and more about the actual gameplay.

Hmm... I'm a bit skeptic about this game. I know you guys are trying to take the best of other games from its genre and try to add to it, but I haven't really seen anything that strikes me as, "Oh, this game looks pretty cool. Maybe I should get it after I've saved up a bit."
In other words, a kart racing game like this doesn't seem to me as though it would really contribute much, if anything to the gaming community. I'm not trying to dissuade you from releasing, and I've no doubt you'll make a relatively good profit from the game. I'm just saying this is one of those games that's good, it's just not really of any use in terms of paving the way for new, innovative games, or other outputs of human imagination.
