Actually.. now when I read again what you said, and if I understood correctly, it also might be possible to do it that way. You'll get to the same point, but it's harder.
There is one "trick" you should find, to do it the easy way.
And I see why the map might be a bit too hard.. but don't give up. ;)

Well I can't figure out how to solve this. What i did, was taking the box on the edge above red laser barirer, put it gently and jump with it on shelf. From there jump with box to the box button... Man, if that's the thing - it's way too "breaking-system" for me :-P
