Description
Installed too many item crafting and/or recycling mods, causing you to suddenly level from 1 to 40 by smithing and smelting iron and steel alone?
Wanting to smith decent gear without winding up as a twinked, unskilled kitten on the battlefield, facing down huge Orcs with better gear and implausibly much health?
Perhaps you'd like to gain levels mainly from more combat-related skills, and let the smithing skill grow at a more casual pace alongside weapons and armor skills, perhaps?

Well, then, I present Slowed Smithing: a mod which does nothing but increase the skill advancement requirement for Smithing a hundredfold or so.

It ought to work fine, and should probably not conflict with any mods that don't change the Smithing skill itself...

**Update**
Increased the pace of Smithing a bit - up to fiftyfold instead of hundredfold; also adjusted down the rate of Two-handed training, as well.

You're welcome. I don't really use it anymore myself, or touch it, but that's mostly because it's not necessary with other mods. ;)

That's odd... Unless... do you have any other mods affecting Smithing loaded AFTER this one? This mod needs to be one of the last ones.

Ah, no, I didn't adjust those two.
Not doing much of modding these days, either; didn't really have the motivation to adjust those skills for the same reason as I needed to slow smithing. Sorry.
