Description
This difficult puzzle involves lasers, light bridges and an edgeless safety cube.
Warning: Involves extreme lighting conditions.

Note: The faith panel works as a reset button. Enter the catapult, and you'll be teleported to the beginning of the puzzle with almost all puzzle elements reset as they were in the beginning. In my own playtesting I found this extremely helpful.

P.S. I appreciate if you can record your blind playthrough as a set of .dem files or as a YouTube video! I love watching those, for they are invaluable developer feedback. I will do the same for your map. Instructions for making .dem recordings can be found in my user profile.

P.P.S. Can you trap yourself? The player is encouraged to try it!

Allright! I updated this map. It includes many small cosmetic updates, and a particular update to the section where the lightbridge problem was that you mentioned.

you only place one. two and yeah, almost impossible to put a portal there

I also tried placing some light strips on the sides of the portal magnet, but it only resulted it being nearly impossible to place any portal at all.

Yeah I found your portal magnet, but I still managed to get some other portals somehow. But I guess for all intents and purposes they work the same way

The spot where the laser hits in the ground is already guarded with a portal magnet. You can't place a portal on it except by one orientation only. You will discover this in about 3 seconds. Unless we are talking about some other laser in the map...? I'm sorry if I'm being obstinate here.
I will try to do something about the light bridge. I'm trying some solutions right now... Mainly involving some knee-hight obstacles that would stop the light bridge but still allow portalling and other actions... But I don't want to create a new platform for the cube, so it is involving.

Oh, i mean stick a strip on the spot the laser hits so that we can't place diagonal portals (as the strip reduces the size of the tile). It's not really necessary, but I doubt I'm the only one who tried to get the laser coming out of the bottom of that portal as the final step. I'm glad that didn't work though, your solution was better. And about the bridge, what I mean is that the bridge will hit the cube, lift it, and for some reason when the bridge is removed the cube will tip and break the connection, thus dropping you in the drink or at least resetting all progress. This is nasty because once you accidentally lift the cube, it's hard to make it safe again without losing the laser. You could fix it by changing the geometry so that the player won't ever line up the cube and the portal they use to get onto the bridge.

Thanks Ravoria! Really good feedback there. The light bridge goes through the door, and this is unavoidable. I decided to ascend that glitch. You can use that as part of the solution if you like; it is not necessary though. However, I can't figure out what you mean by the light strip thing. Could you illustrate it please? Lastly about the lightbridge: Yes, replacing the wrong portal and undoing one's lightbridge is certainly a nasty thing when it happens. That's why there are autosaves (and manual saves) though. If I ever get a bright idea to mitigate that, I'll see about it. I will check your map now!

Enjoyable test, though the light room was a bit overly annoying. It took me ages to figure out how to do the trick at the end properly, which was sad given I've used something similar. Felt really good to finally solve this. Only thing I can recommend is to put a light strip on the surface the laser in the white room hits, this will make it obvious that one (impossible) alternate solution is impossible. Also, I think this was intended, but the light bridge goes through the door; I've never seen that before. And if you can do something about the players accidentally killing themselves with the bridge by moving portal surfaces so the bridge doesn't nudge the cube, that would save people some time.
