Project: Glimmer
Author: Elvarheim
Version: 2.7
Release Date: 11.06.2013
Category: Weapons

Glimmer, a beautiful sword designed with high standards in mind. Can only be crafted at the skyforge, with slightly altered "Ebony" stats, although it is a steel weapon, found under the steel section. With detailed textures, realistic shading and a simple, yet effective, sword design, you have yourself the ultimate monster slaying tool!

2048x2048 Textures, and a low-poly model. Glimmer is a two- handed/one-handed sword, intended for high level players. Witchers Glimmer has a sliver enchantment which allows quicker slaying of "dark" creatures while the regular Glimmer is unenchanted and awaiting the players personal touch. Both are found under the steel section at the skyforge.

Future release will include script to rapidly switch between 1-handed and 2-handed wielding. The 1-handed and 2-handed versions are exactly the same size. The 2-handed wielding decreases swing speed, but still keeps it higher than a vanilla greatsword. The 1-handed version has a slight lower swing speed than vanilla swords.

15.06.2013 - VER 2.7 - Finally compressed the textures.
Compressed textures fix the slight stuttering when equipping Glimmer ingame.
Added unenchanted versions of Glimmer to the skyforge.

11.06.2013 - VER 2.6 - Reupload, because i managed to delete it somehow.
This release includes a fix for the blood splatter not
appearing properly.

Wow that audio in the video with the spotlight is terrible XD He sounds like he just got shot in the face and then all his family died and now he lost all his limbs. That's how boring he sounds

This is the most beautiful sword mod I've ever had the pleasure to subscribe to!!! Thumbs up and a favorite from me.

you should add the bane of undead enchantment or something, to make the sword do more damage to undead, like the witcher's silver blade.

To the people that say it doesn't work... make sure you tick the box in data files before you load up skyrim. you may have to load it up then quit a couple times before it does :)

I cant find the sword to craft I made sure I had all the perks and I was using the skyforge. I did use codes to get the perks but I felt like this shouldn't be a problem, please help!

To the people who wonder where to forge the swords: they can only be forged at the Skyforge in Whiterun. If the weapons still don't show up, make sure you have the steel smithing perk and/or move the mod in your load order; there might be a glitch or something.

This mod is by far my favourite in the weapons department. Not because they are powerful (maybe too much), but because they are so beautiful, elegant and downright of amazing quality.
Great job!
