Or require a difficult to find/craft potion for effects? An esier way is to either 1: Make a quest like the quest for Merhunes razor, find the shards etc. or 2: just put it in a chest somewhere.
Just my thoughts, still this is a great mod.

And if you like my idea and would like some advice on what to use, take a screen shot and display it, and I'll throw some unique components out there. I've even known some weapons in game from players that require some minor alchemy ingrediants. Such as a sword might be created with the ability for stamina drain with no charges, but the stamina drain is minimal, it would require a difficult to obtain alchemy ingrediant that causes stamina drain on consumption.

Sorry about all the tips, no one likes to be told how to do something, but a lot of players prefer the ability to even craft it. I myself am open to all ways, finding it, using cc, or even smithing. The best way to add it to the smithing is to look at the textures of the weapon. If its more black but has some silvery designs in it, make it an ebony ingot and some silver. Idk, but if you appreciate the design and the quality itself, make the neccesary components difficult to locate. This way it will make the end result much more satisfactory. As you know, these are just possibilities, so don't feel inclined to follow through with it, as I know how long modding and creation takes.

Another tip is to tell ppl where to find the sword/stuff they need to do to get it eg. reforging it and such. Ppl usually don't get weapon mods they don't even know where in Tamriel to find.

For possible more subscribers, take one screen shot. If you would like more than just a few, take multiple screen shots. Many people will not subscribe to what they cant see
