Do you like your games a bit less saturated / with a cold touch?

This is the Cold Edition of my full texture pack V3, requested by Uncle Dysan.
The 'normal' version can be found here:

All textures have less saturation than the 'normal' V3 textures.
This effect only affects the terrain, cliffs and mines, so all other gameobjects have their normal saturation!

If you also want to have cold looking trees, try the cold version of my tree compilation:

To make the comparision screens, I changed the saturation after taking them.

Because of that the shown differences can slightly differ from the real ingame experience!

If you want to use another mods water that also adds another beach terrain, check out my beach & rock mods. That way you can keep a better fitting beach together with that water!

Some textures are based on ones I found in other mods:
- Farms: based on Mike's Real Farms - V2 / based on Shayne's ST farm texture
- Desert: includs elements based on KalaAveR's Texture Pack V2

Thanks for sharing all these great textures.

Great to hear so. :)

All my texture packs do have the same file sizes (unless I forgot to 'shrink' them, but I do look after that when upgrading a mod to the new workshop, so this should only be relevant for mods not upgraded yet).

The textures do need ~5.7 mb for all changes in my full texture packs (depends only on used colores, not details).
So v5 and v7 are larger for they cdo hange more graphics. Beside this in the new workshop the size of the main preview image is added. So the shown size is a little larger.

So if it's only for the size - you can choose what you like most - size is not a matter (using one of my mods of course - there are texture mods with 40mb+ in the workshop..). :)

All togetherl, the newer the terrain pack, the more smooth are my terrains. Styles vary a little so single terrains may be less smooth in some packs than in an earlier ones. The most smooth should be 'v6 plain'.

hi there. i really like your cold texture mods ; gives the ''dark age'' feeling... i tried a few cold packs yet and i wonder which one ( from your ''Full Texture Pack'' V 1 to V6 ) is graphichicly smoother ; less textures, details perhaps ?...

... my computer kinda really sucks and i have pretty low fps in-game. if there is a smallest/lightest texture pack - cold version - it would be awesome ! give me some news my friend ! oh and by the way, thanks for your amazing mod i love you

I'll add the cliffs to my list (quite long now for I didn't do much modding last weeks...)

For the buildings - technically I can. BUT that's really time consuming, and last time I worked with unit graphics containing player color I had some problems with the player color areas. So I can't say if and when I'll take a look at that.

can you do cold buildings please? and fix cliffs for cold

Thanks for pointing this out.

There are 2 or 3 tiles that were placed wrong in the early version.

The most actual version available seperately (2.5) is fixed.

There is just no cold version of it yet.

just to warn you you're clifs seem to glitch when put into deep water

they go 3 screens up in the air it looks silly
