A map featuring two large seemingly endless hotels that can be used for both Sandbox and Roleplay. Map is fully noded, fully cubemapped, optimized and includes the Garrysmod 13 changeable skybox. Props also vanish when they reach the botton of the level, so feel free to throw down unused props. The map also includes:
-Nicely done prision
-Apartment Space, toggle lights and lockable doors
-Building areas on top of the buildings
-Small Admin room with capability to explode lower part of the map
-Laboratory with teleport and space for building.
-Mirror room
-Hidden Areas
-Creepy abandoned part of hotel
-Fully noded (NPCs act intelligent now)
-Fully cubemapped (Everything is shiny now!)
-And much more
Check it out! I think it looks nice and plays well. I'd be honored to see it on a server if anyone likes it. No negative feedback, any suggestions for updates or improvements will be noted and appreciated :)

Known Errors as far as i know:
-Models sometimes appear black over wood floors
-Upon changing the sky color, the fog does not change (something i have no control over)

I liked the map, but I was always checking behind my back when I found out about the Ratman. Remove it plz.

i went to the admin room thingy and nocliped to the sky and i saw that arena thing...lets just say i almost pissed myself i thought to myself "wtf did i just cause"

But the city would be small so the errors would be at a mininum. It could teleport us onto an elevator, and once the doors open, combine (Or no combine if it is a happier ending). But I love the map nonetheless!

I have an amazing idea for the storyline! Maybe, once you locate ratman, you could find a button located at the exit (Which would be added), and once pressed, the door would open and you and ratman would escape! it would place us in a destroyed city scape, but this time the combine would be ruling over it, waiting for you, then gun us down. Of course, there would be a way to get a happier ending, but and ending should be added. I would love it!

Amazing work! I keep getting lost it's so big! It took me at least half an hour to cover the whole map.
And I'm very sure there are more secrets to discover...


Can you make RatMan, I don't know, something ratlike? Not trying to be rude, just kind of disapointed.
Also, mabye add a working elevator? Just a thought.

Other then that this map is awesome. Hope to see future updates!!

ye I sometimes extract map files to see if there are any easter eggs in the files xd I already found a test map that had different size screens as custom models,I extracted it and the biggest one was screen_thesizeofmyballs.mdl

@Xratis I at one point did add the full story into the level but due to a lot of computer errors it was never published, perhaps it's time to make it known,

I noclipped to the sky as soon as I heard the screams coming from the pit D:
