Thaum - Ingot Transmutation

Very simple mod. Ill make this description quick.

All it does is make it so the Transmute spell changes ingots instead of ores.

That is:

Iron ingot -> Silver ingot -> Gold ingot

As it takes 1 piece of iron ore to get 1 ingot, and 2 pieces of gold ore to get 1 gold ingot, this mod effectively doubles the amount of gold ingots you end up with in the end.

The reason i did this is because of this mod: AVs Simple Loot and Junk Deconstruction, By Antivyrus.

Amazing mod! Check it out, it lets you smelt down all the random useless clutter into useful metals.

Also check out his other deconstruction mods, they are all excellent!

If the below is not possible, maybe something that alters the Enchanting Tables in the game to add the Smithing and Smelting menues to them? OP yes, but only mages would use one anyway right? RIGHT?! Dirty brutish warriors get away from my Enchanting Tables!

This is great, but not for me. That being said, you seem to know your modding and this is the closest thing I could find to what I am looking for so... a request of sorts?

I want to play a pure mage, but some things you do as a mage still require Smithing (making jewelery), Mining (collecting gold and silver and other ores for said jewelery), and Smelting (to turn the ores you collect to ingots to use for the making of previously mentioned jewelery... so it can be enchanted).

What I am seeking is a set of spells that would interact like a pickaxe (thinking a "beam" of some sort that has the effect of a pick axe so you can "blast" the ore locations), a smelter (just a simple "activate smelter menu" spell, if that is something that is possible without a smelter nearby), and one for smithing (same thing as the smelting one. "Activate smithing menu" kind of thing).

I like this one. It pairs very nicely with mods that let me recycle iron equipment. And it doesn't add 30+ spells just for me to look at the vast majority of them and think, "Yeah, that's kinda stupid."

Yes, yes it does.

op 1 iron ore for one ingot, two gold or silver ores for one of those ingots this means
it doubles the iron to silver and gold

In Tamriel, Thaumaturgy is manipulating the laws of physics to do something. Alteration is persuading the laws of physics something should be something else, or like something else. Alchemy is mixing substances, things and materials together to extract common effects.

Thaumaturgy fell out of use because it's a somewhat blunt instrument...

not necesarily, alchemy was originally the science of transmutation, and it believed that if you changed anythings propery ratio, ie, making it hot and dry resulting in fire like behavior, it would change into something else
