All-Encompassing Guide to Warframe
By Falem
This guide was created to give new players information on everything they need to know about the game in order to make their experience more enjoyable.(starting the game, gameplay, mods, fusion system, mastery rank, alerts, farming, clans, weapons, warframes.)

It was created to make new players have a easier time understanding how the game works and to give players who already know how it works more info about their questions or concerns in the Q and A.

I took information/pictures from the wiki in order to make this guide. I do not claim credit for the pictures or information I am simply putting it all together into something I believe is more organized for players to look through.

Understanding The Common Mistakes
There are many mistakes players made playing the game, I listed them as warnings for you to pay strict attention to so you can understand how to avoid them.

Picking the warframe
When you first enter the game you will be able to choose from 3 warframes. Keep in mind that stealth gives bonus damage. Any warframe can charge in and do whatever they want with their own equipment, but it's how you use the abilities that make the character unique.
  • Volt
A eletronic base warframe that works great against machine type enemies.
    • Shock Launches a shocking projectile. It stuns and deals high damage to a single target and chains damage to nearby enemies.
    • Speed Energizes his body and nearby Warframes, giving them increased speed and dexerity for a short time.
    • Eletric Shield Deploys an obstacle of energy, providing cover in any situation.
    • Overload Emits an energy field, destroying lights and other eletronics which will violently explode and damage nearby enemies.

  • Excalibur
Warframe for close combat (Easiest to start with and is considered one of the best)
    • Slash Dash When used, Excalibur pinballs between enemies, stopping only to cut down one and then move on to the next
    • Radial Blind Emits a bright flash of light, blinding all enemies in a radius for several seconds.
    • Radial Javeline Enemies that are aware of Excalibur's presence get stabbed with energy blades, dealing high slash damage and pinning them to walls.
    • Exalted Blade Excalibur concentrates his energy into a ethereal blade, slashing with this weapon shoots out beams and damage taken while in this form is greatly reduced. Mods attatched to your melee weapon also apply to the sword in this form.
  • Mag
Warframe has multiple situational skills, with a good damage aoe.
    • Pull Using this ability will ragdoll (knock enemies to the ground) enemies in a range in front of Mag, useful to give yourself a bit of breathing room but can only hit targets you see.
    • Shield Polarize Depletes enemies shields with a shock AOE to nearby enemies while recharging team shields.
    • Bullet attractor Creates a bubble around enemies that forces all shots to hit them, works for friend and foe.
    • Crush Enemies are picked up and then crushed magnetically, using this ability is a bit risky if you miss an enemy as the animation takes a bit of time.

Platinum Warning:
You start off with 50 platinum
Do not waste platinum on revives.
  • The 4 revives are attached per warframe.
  • Revives reset every day.
$ Only Items
  • Slots - Warframe * Weapons
  • Colors - Smoke * Fire * Storm * Saturated
  • Cosemetics - Syandanas, Attatchments, Avatar Pictures
Items obtainable in-game:
  • Orokin Catalyst/Reactor

Slots
Weapon slots cost 12 platinum for 2
Warframe slots costs 20 platinum each

Possible Combinations with the 50 platinum
2 Warframe 0 Weapons = 4 Warframe slots 8 Weapon slots
1 Warframe 2 Weapons = 3 Warframe slots 10 Weapon slots
0 Warframe 4 Weapons = 2 Warframe slots 12 Weapon slots

Leveling Up Your Warframe's Skills
As you play the game, you get affinity from various actions (Like killing enemies, completing objectives, etc.) and also from breaking items. As your Warframe levels up, so does their powers.

Arsenal Menu

Using Mods
Start by going to your Arsenal, you will see a summary of your loadout. Hover over a weapon or Warframe and click the "Upgrade" button that appears on the right. Drag and drop your available mods from the bottom to the top to equip them on your frame..

Notes on Polarities:
  • If you match the symbols on the mod to the ones on the slot you will get 1/2 reduction in required and it will show you this by displaying a blue number.
  • If you do not match the symbols on the mod to the ones on the slot you will get incrased points required and it will show you this by displaying a red number.

Modding Weapons
Modding weapons is similar to modding your Warframe, you hover over the weapon in your Arsenal menu and click "Upgrade". Mods that can be equipped will appear automatically along the bottom.

Using Gear
Stary by going to your Arsenal. Near the bottom of your loadout (Under Companion), you'll see a window that says "Gear", click on it and place any Gear you might have in the radial window.
To use them in-game hold Q and select it with the mouse.

Customization
  • You can paint any combination of colors for your warframe and weapons using colors you've paid for on the market.
  • You can find alternative helmets from either alert missions or buying them from the market
  • Using an Arcane alternative helmet will change some stats (Obtainable by trade only).

Farming
Generally when farming you always look for a place that offers as much as that particular resource as possible. However there is some exceptions when you consider exp like if you got alot of items to level and want to also look for materials.

When farming with friends make sure to follow the same path when breaking things or the materials will disappear.

Crafting
  • When you get blueprints it will tell you what resources you need in order to build the item
  • Blueprints that don't show up in the market are found in alert missions.
  • You can craft multiple things at once
  • You can leave completed items in the Forge forever as a holding area.

Finding a Clan

There are a few ways you can get into a clan.
1. Looking for one in region chat.
2. Being invited while playing
3. Create one with friends

Generally you should look for a clan you feel comfortable and can freely express yourself. Its best if the clan is active and always helpful with whatever issues you are having.

Hosts/Hosting - Peer 2 Peer

Online Mode
  • If you lag terribly leave the game, to avoid the possiblity of a disconnect because of the host. (You may also lower the acceptable Ping (How long it takes for your computer and someone elses to communicate) in the options window. Doing so may cause longer waits for squads.
Friends Only
  • You will not be joined by people randomly playing a node, you however can be joined anytime by people on your friends list and on their friends list.
Invite Only
  • Players can only join your game if you invite them either by pressing Esc and going to communication or using the /invite [username] command in chat.
Solo
  • You are on your own, no one can join you ever while in this mode (You can however pause the game with [Esc] and play at your own leisure.

Rewards for Missions

You have a chance of getting blueprints from bosses and secret alert missions.
  • When you complete a mission you will get credits + any blueprints you aquired..
  • If you die or don't make it to extraction but team still completes the mission you only get resources and credits earned during the mission.
  • If the team fails the mission you get nothing but the combat exp (not bonus exp yellow bar)

Note: You don't always get a blueprint this is simply the several different results that can occur.
Missions
U17 Ready

When you beat a mission you will unlock the locations linked to it.
  • This will allow you to unlock planets.
Missions can change at any moment during your objective be careful.

Warning: You may also encounter an enemy that only you will hear, be sure to warn your team when it happens! (This is usually followed by flickering lights and a transmission)

How to get Exp

  • Kills: You get a bonus 50% experience from all kills at the end of mission.
  • Lockdown: 50 exp - normal (25% bonus at end of mission -13 experience).
  • Hostage (Mission Type and Secondary objective): 100 exp - normal (25% bonus).
  • Sabotage (Core objective) (Mission Type): 200 exp - normal (25% bonus).
  • Affinity Orbs: Affinity orbs grant you 100 experience to your warframe. Need to test if subject to bonus.
  • Affinity Booster: This is a store bought booster than doubles ALL affinity gains.

Note about Global Experience: Experience can be gained by staying near teamates who get kills, these kills will add 50% of the affinity gained to your entire equipped loadout.

Assassination

In assassination missions your target is a unique enemy boss that has a higher chance of dropping better loot like resources or blueprints.

Capture

In Capture missions you have a single target, they will attempt to flee when you come in range, capturing them requires you to empty their health bar to cause them to fall backwards, where you can stand above them and press X to capture.

Deception

In Deception missions you bring the datamass to a terminal to upload it to the target which is instant, and make your escape. These missions tend to change objectives, especially if you are spotted.

Defense
In defense missions you have to protect a objective from being destroyed.
  • You choose if you want to leave or stay every 5 wave
  • People cannot join you after wave 5
  • If people select to exit and you select to stay, they will leave and you will remain
  • If the host leaves it does a migration for a new host which will renew the breakable objects.
  • If you die or lose you will keep all the mods/materials you gathered up to the last checkpoint

Example: If you die at wave 12 you will keep all the items up to wave 10.

Excavation

In Excavation missions you protect excavators while they dig up "Artifacts" energy depletes at a 1:1 ratio with time.
  • Each battery adds 20 energy to the Excavator
  • Batteries recharge the Excavator's shields instantly

Exterminate

In Exterminate missions you are required to kill all enemies... then leave.

Hijack

In hijack missions you have objectives to take control of and bring to extraction point.

Interception

in Interception missions you fight for control of 4 key strategic points against the enemy, in a race to get to 100%.

Invasion

In invasion missions you ally yourself with a faction to fight against the invading forces (another faction). Play multiple times on one team to get that factions Battle Pay, awarded at the end of the invasion regardless of who wins.

Mobile Defense

In Mobile Defense missions you have to bring a datamass to 1-3 terminals and defend them against incoming enemy waves.

Recovery

Recovery is a hidden mission which can only be accessed when the player is defeated and "harvested" by the Zanuka Hunter. The mission requires the player to collect their confiscated weapons and escape from the Zanuka Project facility in the Corpus Gas City in Jupiter.

Rescue (Stealth Mission Only)

In rescue missions you are required to escort a NPC from a prison room to evacuation.
  • Don't worry about being detected prior to the "Rescue" room, once you get near it you can turn off the alarms, kill any enemies still alerted, and then walk into the prison block without worry.
  • If you are quick, you can get to evacuation and complete the mission without escorting the hostage all the way, if they get knocked down before you can, however, then you have to run back to pick them up

Sabotage

In Sabotage Missions you locate the objective and destroy it before escaping.

Spy

In Spy missions you locate and hack three terminals in order to retrieve data within. Rewards are given out based off of successful hacks, as well as large amounts of bonus exp for stealth hacks

Survival

Endless mode - where you fight to survive as long as possible while life support drains.
  • Using a life support capsule gives 30%
  • Enemies have a chance to drop Life Support Modules, anything that increases drop chance will help collect them

Boss Strategies - coming soon

Mastery Rank
Mastery Ranks unlock warframes and blueprints so you can create them.
  • Rank 8 unlocks the Dragon Nikana (the highest mastery locked item)

Mastery points can only be earned from ranking weapons/warframes to 30 only once. If you attempt to sell/buy the weapon again in order to get more points you wont get any.

Example:If you sell something at level 28 though and buy it again and level it to 30 you will get the points you didnt get before.

  • Weapons = 100 points
  • Warframes = 200 points

Mastery Rank Challenges

Rank 1: Primary Weapon Test

You face down three waves of Corpus enemies using only your primary weapon to kill them.

If you picked the Mk-1 Paris as your primary, you may have some trouble with this if you try to rank up when the option first shows up. I suggest you save up credits to buy the Braton from the market for 20k credits, level it up enough to put whatever mods you have available on it, and then attempt the exam. Even if you picked the Mk-1 Braton you may want to still grab the Braton from the marketplace, as it is a direct upgrade.

Rank 2: Survival Test

Just survive for a set amount of time and you win.

Rank 3: Sidearm Test

You can only use your sidearm for the test which can either be a melee weapon or your secondary weapon.. There is 3 waves of enemies to clear out before it ends.

Rank 4: Survival Test
Just survive for a set amount of time and you win.

Rank 5:Terminal Hacking Test

There are three waves of terminals you must hack. The terminals are harder then the ones you encounter in normal gameplay. If you mess up dont worry just re-do the terminal before time runs out.

Rank 6: Target Tracking Test

You will have to follow energy that goes from sphere to sphere until it stops and turns one of them white. Shoot it as fast as you can in order to win the objective. Always bring a accurate primary gun just in case you do the Target Tracking Test. I recommend the MK-1
Alerts
U17 Ready

Alert Filtering Program[forums.warframe.com]
There is a program to inform you of any alerts that pop up within the game it also features customization to exclude anything you already have.

The Other Alert Program
This program works like the first one except it is the more offical one that the devs endorse it seems within their game.

There is also a twitter you can use to be informed about the alerts along with other programs you can put on your smartphones in order to stay informed.

Alerts give you blueprints that you would otherwise be unable to obtain. It even gives things like orokin reactor/cataylst. It is randomly generated however so the more items introduced into the game the less likely you will see what you want appear.

Alerts also give you Auras which can be used as a passive buff and increases mod points available when equipped.

Alerts for Nightmare mods (Mods that have two positive buffs on them) will always be No Shield nightmare missions.

Note: You cannot get a reward twice for an alert.
Upgrading Gear
U17 Ready

  • Orokin Catalyst is used to upgrade weapons and sometimes referred to as a "Blue Potato".
  • Orokin Reactor is used to upgrade warframes and is sometimes referred to as a "Gold Potato".

When you upgrade a weapon or warframe, you double the mod points you get from its level.

Example: If your weapon is level 15 and you supercharge it you will get 30 points to use. If you level it to 16 you will gain 2 points since the 1 point is doubled.

  • Forma is used to polarize slots

When you polarize a slot you give it a symbol. Whatever card has the same symbol as the slot will half the required points you need.

  • Exilus Adapter is used to unlock the Utility mod slot to the right of the Aura slot. A blueprint for making them will be unlocked after the quest "Natah" (Unlocked after Mastery Rank 3 and scanning something wierd).

The extra slot can only be equipped with mods that are marked as Exilus (Near the top of the mod card you would see a symbol telling you it's a utility mod)
Keys + Forma
U17 Ready

Type of Keys

Dojo Key – made by foundry (if you are in a clan)
Raid Key – found randomly when you complete a mission
Derelict Key -- Made from Blueprints you buy in the market for credits (Under Gear).

These keys can be used from the Galaxy Map by either clicking on Dojo, Void, or Derelict respectively.

Forma

Forma is used to either
  • Give you a polarity slot for a weapon by resetting its level back to 1
  • You can assign polarity slots to each slot
  • Upgrade your dojo.
  • Craft certain weapons and frames
  • Re-arrange your polarities on your items
Forma is obtained by completing void missions as either a blueprint or as solid Forma (The latter is much rarer though).
Crafting
U17 Ready
To start crafting you go to the foundary. Here you will use materials you gathered to craft items from blueprints. Blueprints can be aquired from the market or alert missions.

The dojo will also have considerable amount of locations/things of craft. While the information is known on exactly what. They have stated that mastery rank and the dojo will be tied in together so that people can craft more weapons.

Crafting for items usually take about 12 hours at least to 3 days the most.
Generally weapons/warframe parts will be 12 hours. The warframe itself will take about 3 days though.

Mastery Point Warning:
When crafting requires you to sacfrice a weapon make sure to have leveled it to 30 beforehand. If you do not you will lose out on mastery points and in order to obtain the points you would need to get the weapon and level it from the start to finish again.

Crafting Multiple Things at Once

While crafting multiple things at once can get us warframes/weapons in a closer time proximity I recommend being careful because you will always need credits to finish building warframes.

Example: Say I build 3 parts and have 25k leftover if i spend that on weapon crafting I'll need to save up again to be able to use the final blueprint to create the warframe.

Note: You cannot craft the same thing multiples times at once. Which means if you want to craft two Orokin Catalysts, you wait 12 hours for the first one to finish. Then you can start crafting the second one.

Warning: Alternative helmets cannot be used for the market warframe blueprints.
Mods
Fusing Mods

1. Fuse mods of the same type give max possible points towards ranking them.
2. Fuse mods of the same polarity gives second best points towards ranking them.
3. Fuse mods of different types gives least points towards ranking them.
4. Fuse mods with fusion cores varies on effectiveiness depending on the rank of it.

1 and 2 give good points to ranking mods and also are very cheap to fuse in comparison to fusion cores. 3 is not worth it because you are losing different types of cards for very little effectiveiness.

Notes:
  • It does save the progress when you are ranking the mods, so do not fear losing your progress when you don't have enough to fully rank it.
  • If you hover your mouse over mods it will tell you what ranking them up will do.

Fusion cores

Fusion cores are the most expensive method of ranking fusion mods but are important early game since it is unlikely you will have alot of duplicates.

Recommendation: Make sure you always have a duplicate of a card before fusing it (unless its fusion core), you do not want to lose any type of card since they give you options. Some new players are known to actually lose their skill cards that come with their starter warframes because they fused them together avoid this mistake at all costs.

Aura Mods
  • Equipping Auras will give you mod points, doubling with the same polarity
  • You can equip 1 Aura mod per warframe
  • You can upgrade aura mods like any other mod

Explanation of Mods
The following mods are bit more complex then standard mods so ill explain how they work in detail.

Multi-Shot
Considered one of the best mods for multiplying the number of hits your bullets do.
60% on a multishot mod means it has a 60% chance to double the amount of hits on a enemy.
120% means it has a 100% for double and 20% chance to triple the amount of hits.

Punch Through
Shoots through enemies,walls,objects.
The more you level this mod the further it can shoot through things (At 1.2 punch through, you can shoot through enemies, allowing one bullet to hit two targets).

Critical Chance
100% critical chance does not mean it will happen 100% of the time.
100% critical change means the "normal" critical chance is doubled.
100% of 3% makes it 6% chance of critical damage.
If you get a critical chance over 100%, you will always inflict crits on enemies and have a chance to inflict Red Crits (Multiplies your crit damage by your Crit damage modifier on your gun).

Recruiting:
Leaders and higher can recruit members for the clan and promote them.
There is several different methods in recruiting others some are which:
1. Help people in region chat and after assisting them ask if they would like to join
2. Recruit them while farming for bosses
3. Recruit them while playing defense missions

You can use the MOTD (Message of the Day) to announce various events/research to clan members, do this by going to clan in the communications menu and selecting "Clan Settings" in the bottom right corner.

Dojo

How to Enter a Dojo
  • You need to first join or create a clan.
  • Create the key in order to enter the dojo by crafting it from the foundary.
  • Click the key symbol next to arsenal and click on a key to enter the dojo.

Building
  • A aritect must be selected to choose what to build for the clan.
  • You start with 100 capacity and 5 energy.
  • Red doors are nodes which allow you to expand dojo.
  • Can build multiples rooms at once as long as you have the nodes for it.

  • Make hallways in order to be able to have access to more nodes
  • Make oracle rooms to be able to make research labs.

  • Reactor rooms adds 25 energy.
  • Clan Hall adds 100 capacity
  • Great Clan Hall adds 200 capacity
  • You cannot see buildings in the list for path nodes it can not be built at. So find a place where you do have enough space to build it and it will reappear.

Sentinels
Sentinels are pets that assist you in missions. They have various abilities and differ from one another like warframes do. They are able to be supercharged both their frame and weapon.

Wyrm

With 'Warrior' and 'Crowd Dispersion' as default Precepts, Wyrm is a highly offensive Sentinel. Wyrm also comes with a laser rifle.

Shade

With 'Revenge' and 'Ghost' as default Precepts, Shade is well suited for stealth gameplay. Shade also comes with a burst laser pistol

Dethcube

Swift Deth - Sentinel will attack first visible enemy in range
Vaporize - Sentinel will deal high damage to target that gets too close.

Carrier

Vacuum - Detects and collects items throughout the room for the player, including mods.
Striker - Carrier will attack the first visible enemy in range.

Djinn
Craftable only from Clan Research

Thumper - Sentinel will attack first visible
Fatal Attraction - Draw enemies close and deal high radial damage

Mods

Ghost
Best mod for reviving people. It will allows you to be cloaked near enemies so when you go to revive someone you should most likely be safe from being shot.

Mods for both

Guardian
Best mod for sentinals. It fully recharges your energy shield when maxed (50% at default and 10% per level.) So when you run out of energy shield it will restore it to full which will cost it some energy but that should not be a problem.

Q: Why don't my sentinels attack?
A: You have to equip Warrior mod if its a wyrm or Revenge mod if its a shade.

Warframes
Each warframe has 4 abilities that make them different from the others but still fall into categories.

Target Based

Target-Damage
Target based is when you do not blast in a radius, but rather a straight line or a single target. These DPS skills while they do high damage are not used as much as the AOE skills.

Target-Control
Target control basically changes the properties of a target.
  • Example a trinty casting energy vampire will make a target give energy to anyone who damages him.
  • Example A Nyx who casts mind control on a enemy makes the enemy attack his own allies.

AOE Based

AOE-Damage
AOE damage skills are useful to clear rooms of enemies while earning tons of exp for your warframe.

AOE-Stun
AOE stun skills are useful for immbolizing enemies and while they dont always do the highest damage they are useful for the team to get in hits on the enemy.

AOE-Control
AOE control skills are useful for making a crowd of enemies attack each other.
  • Example: Nyx skill chaos used in defense missions is really helpful in getting toxic/disrupters away from the cryopod.

Self-Targeted

Self-Target
Self targeted skills are useful for increasing your own stats/survivablity.
  • Example Rhino uses iron skin so he can take toxic infected without sustaining damage to health.

Skills
Sonic Boom
Is a great skill noteably in defense missions for getting monsters away from your cryopod.

Sonar
Exposes critical weakpoints on enemies and allows you to deal even more damage this skill is really useful for higher defense waves since enemy level rises along with their hp.

Silence
Ideal for stealth and intrusion situations, using SILENCE on unaware enemies will limit their perceptions and tactical response. Warframe attacks, gunfire, and enemy deaths will not trigger enemy awareness while SILENCE is active.

Sound Quake
The AOE has been nerfed recently, now you can take damage when casting it. The radius was also reduced so its no longer the biggest radius of all the AOEs.

  • Fireball can cause headshot damage.
  • May be cast multiple times without removing previous Fireball effects, i.e on the ground.
  • Will not end the cloak from Shade's Ghost skill.
  • Fireball will break reinforced Corpus ship windows.
  • Can be used while jumping, sliding, flipping, wall-running or wall-clinging.

Overheat
  • Ember is immune to disruption (energy drain) while active but not immune to stagger, stun or knockdown effects during Overheat.
  • When cast gives a very brief period of invulnerability and immunity to knockdown, stagger or stun.
  • Can be used while jumping, sliding, flipping, wall-running or wall-clinging.

Fireblast
  • Rarely some targets such as bosses may be seen to receive two sets of damage.
  • Can be used while jumping, sliding, flipping, wall-running or wall-clinging.

World on Fire
  • After the cast animation Ember is lit ablaze and leaves a trail of fire behind her. A limited number of randomly targeted enemies in the area take damage over time. The damage effect ends immediately when there are no enemy targets in range, but Ember remains burning for the full duration of the ability.
  • Targets all types of enemies e.g. mining machines, cameras, turrets and nervos.
  • Can be used while sliding but not while in the air.

Skills
Freeze
  • Freeze is ended if the enemy receives health damage.
  • Freeze may be cast on the same enemy twice but this will not extend or restart the freeze timer.
  • Freeze lasts for the full duration on the Jackal, even if shot (while frozen, blocks limb damage).
  • Can be used while jumping, sliding, clinging to a wall or executing a front flip

Ice Wave
This is good when targets are aligned in a row which is common for infected to do however other factions will most likely not be in a line once they have time to take cover.

Snow Globe
This skill is used primarily to protect objectives on defense/mobile defense. You can shoot from inside to outside but not outside to inside. It is also useful against protecting yourself from bosses. If bosses get near they will slow down and you can melee them easier while avoiding being hit

Avalanche
The aoe does great ice damage against enemies and freezes them temporily which is helpful to get in more good shots/melee hits on either very high HP enemies or bosses.

Psychic Bolts
Nyx launches a cluster of force bolts at enemies, using telekinesis to adjust flight patterns and seek nearby targets.
  • 3/4/5 bolts launched.

Chaos
Considered the best skill for Infected defense missions. It confuses the enemies and makes them attack each other. You can only cast it once in a set amount of time so make sure to aoe in a place where you can hit the most targets.

  • Sentinels will also benefit from the healing if they attack an enemy marked with Well Of Life.

Energy Vampire
  • Each ally may only regain 100 energy per cast of Energy Vampire. Affected by Power Strenght (Focus)
  • Enemies flagged with Energy Vampire will shine a distinct bright blue.
  • The power may not be cast again for the full duration of it, regardless of whether the marked target is still alive or not.

Skills
Shock
  • An excellent source of single target damage and AoE crowd control.
  • Shock performs its AoE stun about 10% of the time and the damage to single Targets is lowered.

Speed
  • Great for catching up with teammates needing reviving, flee from tough enemies or taking the lead.
  • Speed does not throw off enemy aim, they will still land shots on you.

Electric Shield
  • Good when going head to head with someone or something with bigger guns than you.
  • Shooting through the shield will lower your damage, but compensates for that by converting your shots to Electric element.
  • Currently, shooting through the shield will deal high additional damage to Ancient Infested.
  • Snipertron cannot shoot through the shield.

Overload
  • AoE increase depending on how many electronics destroyed by this ability, so does the damage inflicted.
  • Can be used while sliding.
Questions and Answers
Q: If i didn't unlock a location that my friend voted on do I get kicked out of the squad?
A: No, in fact if you complete the mission you unlock that location plus anything networked to it.

Q: Can we repeat alerts for rewards by joining our friends/clan members doing it?
A: No you cannot, this used to be the case before update 7.10

Q: What happens to the stuff we collected if we quit or fail the mission?
A: You won't get any of the items just the exp you obtained from combat.

Q: Is there a way to upgrade mods i have installed in weapons or warframes without unequipping them?
A: Yes, you simply navigate to the weapon/warframe and hit mods instead of the first page and the installed mods can be upgraded. They are also highlighted for you in color.

Q: What is difference between shield capacity and shield regeneration?
A: Shield recharge is to acculmate shield points faster. Shield capacity is to have a bigger pool of storage for it.

Q: Will trading ever come to the game?
A: Devs: We do not like the idea of trading because of botters, and other gold sites that tend to ruin the economy, and could be bad for our own profit. Not to mention we give away 50 platinum for starters to use on whatever they like so its out of the question. If we do include trading it will be between clans and be extremely limited.

For anyone who still pays attention to this guide I'll be slowly updating on behalf of Falem for U17, after that, it's back to him. I suspect most of the smaller sections will be updated quickly while sections involving tables will probably be updated last.

So is this guide really outdated or not ? For instance as a beginner i've some doubts on the Defense part (in Missions). I don't remember having any loot when we died at wave 20+. All loots were lost.
It'd be nice to put a warning at the beginning if the guide is outdated. Thx for the help anyway ;).
