Terrashift Tactics is a online multiplayer turn based strategy game on the PC, focusing on a unique battlefield mechanic, altering the landscape to use as a tactical advantage. Use technology to destroy, wreck and consume the environment or create powerful devices to weaken your opponent. Use psychic minds to control and manipulate your enemy into doing your bidding. Cause chaos with lava spewing from volcanos, flood your enemies path then freeze the water to trap anyone unfortunate enough to be caught under. Electrify the world around you to force your rival to take new paths to get to you, or be toast. All this and many other different tactics are available to you. Take the fight to others with the online multiplayer, or practise your skills against the AI.

  • Dynamic battlefield you control and dominate to gain the upper hand on your opponent.
  • Gain height advantage and line of sight to better execute your game plan.
  • Competitve online multiplayer with stat recording, player profiles and a replay feature.
  • Create and customize your own team of characters, each with their own skills, equipment and abilities.
  • Fight against the AI in a single player skirmish mode to practise your tactics.
  • Unlock new abilities, weapons and equipment to make each of your characters unique.

Love these kinds of strategy games, and the map manipulation being part of the tactics is an awesome idea and I am fully behind this game.

Hey guys, we just posted some new screenshots of some updated UI.
Its still an ongoing process as we replace the temporary textures with art from our new artists :)
Who's liking our new UI so far?
DarkVortex  [author] Aug 20, 2013 @ 8:55am
Hehe, yeah most our abilities are non-discriminative.
For example, the grappling hook can be used on enemies to drag them closer to you, or terrain to drag yourself forward. And then there is always the option to target your own allies to pull them to yourself. :)
We should have an update for the final three classes soon :) glad you like the ones so far.

p.s. Fun fact: Originally we designed a dynamic single player story driven campaign mode to be the main feature of the game. We decided later that it just wasn't feasible with our budget to make a story mode game ):.

Ahh, it looks fun! I was hoping there would be a single player story mode, because I'm more of a solo player... but I do like playing games with my friends. xD As long as there's some kind of friendly fire mechanism, because I just want to kill my friends. <- Worst friend ever!

I do like the classes you've already posted, by the way. I'll look out for the remaining 3 you have yet to post.
