Dragonplate should be better than Daedric

I didn't see anything around that just got this done so I took the time to do it myself.

For players who would prefer it this way, DSBBTD simply swaps the Value and Armor Rating of Daedric and Dragonplate armors so that Dragonplate is better than Daedric.

tbh the dragon armor is already better than daedric (it weighs less) and also because of the armor cap at 567 armor, it really doesnt make a difference what armor you can use.

Let's be honest, Daedric looks better than dragonplate.

How does this effect reinforcement values? Vanilla dragonplate gives more defense at legendary than daedric does.

they probably made deadric better just because its harder to make their armor or harder to find

Dragons are aedra. Deadra are... well, daedra. Both groups are immortal and very powerful, and mortals have taken to exploiting both groups' internal organs for art projects. lol

In dragon arms and armor, the remains are more directly used as the base material for doing the job.
In daedric arms and armor, ebony is the base material, and the exploited organ is a heart melted in.

Deadra hearts seem more "magical," so perhaps they could yield stronger enchantments and magic resistance in exchange for being second to dragon armor for physical damage?

thanks man i never got why deadric was stronger than dragon and i nver liked the evil look of deadic(i like being on the vigil of stendars good side to)

I never got why Daedric was better than Dragonbone, Dragonbone needs level 100 in smithing, while Daedric is 90... just doesn't make sense. Its maybe because with Dawnguard you could make Dragonbone weapons, which are OBVIOUSLY stronger then Daedric. Other people do have a point where Daedra/Dremora are pretty rare.

totally agree with mjlarson1. Bullheaded Pro-Lore seems like fundamentalism to me.

great mod i always thought it was odd that deadric was stronger

@mjilarson1 I agree, a better mod would switch the perks, so you can craft Dragon at 90 and Deadric at 100. However, I like to pretend my dragon armor is made from Alduin himself, which would be much more powerful then the lesser Deadra.
