First play test!
Description
"Protein Pirates!" originated during the Indie Speed Run 2012 game jam. Winning Grand Prize and receiving praise among the contest judges, developer's Alex and Kyle Uithoven ( AbstrAKT Games ) are working on a full release title. Spanning across an estimated 32 levels and expanding on everything in the original prototype, "Protein Pirates!" will be a mix of simulation and strategy. Help the Protein Pirates infect and take over different organs in the human body on their way to system control! Focusing on letting the player choose their play style, either micro or macro management will be necessary to complete their goals.
The prototype for "Protein Pirates" can be found at the link below!

If you guys did this in 48 hours, I can't wait to see what you can do with some time. I'm looking forward to the "full version"!

Kevin, we appreciate the feedback, but considering it is not constructive in anyway, allow me to address your points. Although my art style is very close to Edmund's, if differs in many ways. Inspiration often breeds imitation. Second, most of the content on here is of the 48 HOUR version of the game. Keep in mind that nothing we are showing yet is the remade game. I do agree the game jam version lacked depth. We are spending tons of time adding content and making sure the game is enjoyable and anything but generic.

So your plan is just to steal McMillen's art style and slap it on a generic boring game?

looks more like a free flash game. it doesnt fit in with steam. and looks corny. Do these protein pirates work at defeating Dr Mario?
