OMG Goscurry got greenlit!

Ok, I'll be serious now. First of all, big, no, GIANT, thanks to all you that helped getting Goscurry Greenlit. Isak and I are very happy and we hug you very strongly (we're both big, so get ready and wear something protective).

Obviously, as soon as Goscurry will officially be on Steam, I'll talk with all the current stores it's being sold from, so that existing users will get a Steam key (please don't take this as a guarantee though: I will do everything possible to make the Steam keys available, but maybe some stores will have issues with that — even if I'm 99.99% sure that won't happen, since all stores work with Steam keys too).

About release time

There are two main issues I need to solve before release.

First, I'm implementing a new leaderboard system (Combu), because the current cloud one I was using got superslow and sometimes doesn't even work, which is very bad. I'm working on it since before the Greenlighting, so it's practically complete and just needs a few more tweaks.

Second, my accountant made a horrible mess and left me with tons of money to pay (which I don't have, but that's another issue). Now I'm suing him to get all the documentation of the mess he made. As soon as I have it, I'll be able to go to another accountant and prepare the bureaucracy that Steam requires. It should take a month or so, maybe less, I hope not more.

A final note
THANKS! Really! :)

Goscurry is complete!
Release date: Early Summer 2013
A hard game, where you must relax and follow the rhythm (except for speedfreak modes, where things go crazy)

Try to go as far as you can by piloting a ship on an infinite road, suspended over a stylized and eerie landscape shining with electrobeats; while taking sharp corners, evading hazards, and avoiding panic attacks.

Developed by Daniele Giardini with beats by Isak J Martinsson

Goscurry has already been released, via Humble Store and other markets.

:: Some Reviews ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Indie Statik[]
Arcade games are at their best when you die and jump back in immediately, knowing you can do better. Do yourself a favor and give Goscurry a chance; it fits this description perfectly.

IGN Italia
Goscurry is one of those games that push you into a state of videogame trance [...]. Trying to resist the urge to press ENTER and to dive into the gameplay again is truly hard...
Its pace, its tougness, its 3D visuals [...], its excellent controls and its taxing difficulty, make Goscurry a true modern arcade game that will frustrate and deeply reward you in equal measures...

:: Some Reviews - based on Alpha Version :::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Rock, Paper, Shotgun
[Goscurry] is happiness in a tiny rocketship. [...] The controls are intoxicatingly responsive, there’s tons of embedded, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it humor, and the visuals are simple yet gorgeous...

Indie Statik[]
Imbued with the right kind of pulse, a game can take you places: inside your mind, or even outside your body...
Speeding along the skyroad in your rocket car and watching the road assemble itself in front of you is exhilarating--until you miss a hairpin turn and plummet to the lovely cityscape below...

PC Gamer - free webgame roundup
Even in alpha form, Goscurry is polished, gorgeous and rather hard to stop playing...

I'm so ignorant! I had no idea you could craft stuff with Steam's cards, I just keep them for collection :O Thanks for the heads-up, and I will certainly look into that too.

Kinda yeah, I take it your unfamiliar with what steam does with cards. When you collect the cards for a game and craft a badge, it unlocks emoticons and background images you can apply to your steam profile page. So it would be something like your wallpapers you offer, except on peoples steam profile pages (Like if you look at mine, is a They Bleed Pixels background).

I would definitely love to do sexy steam cards! So unless Valve says "no we don't want your cards, die!" I'm surely gonna do them :)
What you mean with backgrounds instead? Something like these[]? :)
Chizu Mar 28 @ 11:11am
And so they should.
Can we have some sexy emoticons/cards/backgrounds too?
I can see some really awesome backgrounds coming out of this game :v

Thank you ladies and gentlemen :) I can't wait to implement Steam achievements: those will make me so proud, in a childishly professional way.
