Years ago, the whole of Tamriel was covered by a vast ocean, with islands scattered throughout it. One island was home to a vast temple dedicated to the earth. Resting within was a shield that could reflect magic, forged by the gods to aid a hero destined to vanquish an evil menace from the dawn of time. Grim stories say that the shield was wielded by such a hero, but was lost to the sea.

The ward effect appears and vanishes quickly, but the shield still reflects! Don't worry! It's just a visual cue to let you know it's working!

The shield is heavy armor by default, but can be converted to light armor by heating it in a smelter.

The enchantment cannot be made learnable. Sorry.

This mod places the Mirror Shield from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker into a large lake in Skyrim, specificially in the Pale. Since the shield is such a strong artifact (equal to an Ebony Shield) with a very powerful enchantment -- the ability to reflect magic attacks -- that is the only hint you will get. That and you might have to fight a dragon.

The second video up in the images bar helps explain exactly where it is in the lake.
I can't find it. There is only one lake in the pale. Do i have to go into the cave or what? I'm trying to make a complete Zelda set and this and a few other weapons are only missing from it.

By "perfected" I mean I fixed the enchantment unique to this shield. It's not at all better than J3X's work. I did look at Elaborate Enchantments for hints, though, but built it mostly from scratch. The "perfecting" comes from removing a bit of lag with the one I built. I did not improve on J3X's work; I took a slightly different path with it.
The main differerence is that the Elaborate Enchantments version keeps the ward up the whole time like Spellbreaker, whereas mine is mostly invisible. That, and as far as I know J3X's Mirror enchantment can actually be broken off and applied to other shields, which was never and intention with my Mirror Shields.

ahhh see its funny you posted that cuz i just downloaded it. now, the only thing i dont get is whats the difference between the two? in the last couple updates on your mod here it sounds to me like youve perfected it, and i havent tried out the other mod. would you know the dif?

There is none. I recall mentioning that applying the enchantment breaks it, so learning it through the console would not help.
If all else fails, there is a mirror enchantment in this mod:

or teaching yourself the specific enchantment through console command?
jaden_ramalho Feb 10 @ 8:14pm
is there no way of just having the shield be learnable at the enchantment table?

lol no srsly tho, i looked all up in the creation kit website and it mentions no single thing about managing meshes or bsa file. bullshitass files more like it
