I have created a worthy successor to the Destroyer Class from Torchlight 1.It is also a homage to my once favorite Class The Barbarian from Diablo 2.What this mod does is combine the Destroyer skills From TL1 with theBerserker skills and a couple others from TL2. What you have is quite possibly one of the toughest straight Melee/Tanking and DPS builds imaginable. I call it the BARBARIAN TL2. I have play tested this first release through Level 30. It works Flawlessly. Being able to combine the Destroyer, Beserker (and a few other small donations from other classes) into one class can make for some awesome combo's and amazing DPS output as well as extraordinary toughness, not possible before with either of the two classes.

The Barbarian has all the skills that make it great for crowd control, as well as in your face DPS dealing, and awesome tanking. He also has the Aura's back from Torchlight 1 that Withered, Slowed, and damaged away your opponents as they got close to you. (All Aura's and buff's Extend to 2 minutes after upgrading)

All of the BEST Destroyer and Berserker skills are combined here and are included in the Barbarian TL2. There is no reason for the Destroyer, when you can have him and the Berserker merged. Remember this is not a casting or ranged class, it is all Straight Melee and Auras/Buffs. 30 Total Skills in all forming the One of the Best Strictly Melee Classes in the game.

Thanks for trying out the BARBARIAN TL2.

Make Backups of your saved Characters before using mods.

I really like this character. I'm feeling a little overpowered on veteran. maybe invincible is the right word. health regen in crits. i took down general grel without using a single health potion. i just stood in front of him and held down the left mouse button.

I really like this mod. It is almost perfect for my playstyle. My one complaint is the ridiculous brightness of the Frost Shield spell. It is like a blue sun in the middle of my screen and I can't even see my character through it. I had the same issue with this spell on my Destroyer in TL1, but there were mods on that game to tone it down. Does anyone know how I can make it less bright on this game?

is it alright if I use this class for a character pack?

Hi DraconiusKnight, do you plan (down the road) to create a vanilla D2 Barbarian (one that has all and only the skills from D2)?

Hi there DraconiusKnight. I thank you for sharing your works with us and i hope you will keep on going the nice job. I played this BARBARIAN for almost 3 hours, i know its not finished yet but if possible i'd like to suggest you the implement of a skill. Since his Charge Bar is Equal to the one of Berserker, you should really considering to implement the Frenzy Mastery Passive that adds a 0.5sec duration bonus per level to Frenzy State.Waiting for your updates to come and thx again. Nice day

@koala... no this class is not complete. No flavor text has been added to any of the skills, nor am I positive that the skill set at current will stay the way it is, there are some skills that I now feel may suit the Barbarian a bit better and will be implementing/altering them soon enough.

Is this Class complete other than a few tweaks?

@Javen The berserkers tree is fixed, somehow I ended up with two different layouts being saved in the mod, one was the Barbarian's Layout, the other was a corrupted Berserker layout that was overwriting the actual Zerker layout if the Barbarian mod was activated. This should now be fixed in play.

I realize when I have this mod activated, the Beserker's Hunter Skill tree is all blacked out and no pictures are available. but when i deactivate it, everything goes back to normal. I wonder if there is some kind of issue affecting it.
