Description
You need all 6 cubes placed around the chamber in order to open, and then get up to the exit. Simple, no?

Thanks so much for playing! And especially for recording your video. I love watching other people play my chambers. I must say, your solution to the light-bridge room was very inventive - and completely unintended. Usually if I see someone with an unintended "explot" I adjust the chamber to make it impossible - but yours was so inventive that it qualifies as an alternative solution, so I will leave it in :)

Nice map, but my shoes are burned! My solution. Thanks.

Yuuubi - that's really weird. I thought it was just a problem with dmuk's account or something, since he was the only one who had any issues. However now you have also brought it up, I have taken your suggestion and re-published it. I also made a couple of tweaks I've been meaning to make. Please let me know if it's now working for you - and I look forward to hearing your comments :)

Hi EuroSong, couldn't play your map because of a download problem. It seems that this has happened to other people before. Maybe republish your map, I'd be happy to try it and give you my impressions :)

I tried again today; same problem ("Error loading"...) after un/re-subscribing. I'll try again after a day or two?

dmuk - really? Weird. I (and others) have no problem with this. Do other user-designed chambers load for you? Perhaps delete/unsubscribe and try again.

Didnt load??

Hi Duke - thanks for playing! Beemod, eh? I'll have to look it up. I never created tests beyond the regular in-game editor, as I tried Hammer once but it seemed far too complicated for the amount of time I'm willing to devote to this :)
Anyway, yes I agree - a save point would be good. I'll look into it. But here's a tip: with the turrets, you don't have to dodge a single bullet. You can avoid them altogether. Wanna give it another go?
Duke Jan 23, 2014 @ 3:25pm
Whoa. I didnt finish the test, I didn't get to the second cube even. You have to google beemod and install it. Takes about 2 min. Gooootta have those auto save points if your going to have turrents. It gives you logic gates, (and, or, not) and invisible triggers. Plus a few extra things. Nothing you have to do just shows up as the normal editor. It's required in my book!

BUT. I hate giving criticism because all things being equal it's simply my opinion. Waaay too big! Maybe it adds to the difficulty but even I think it's a bit over the top. (note the comments on my ascension map lol) Also, I think its a cruel cruel game for a player to work at something extremely tedious and then get no reward, makes people just skip the map! God knows I do...

Blah blah intoxication has gotten the best of me, I think a save point before the turrets would seriously increase this maps playability, and overall - fun!

Then I'm pleased, because your experience was just as I intended :) The test was designed to look like it was obvious what the solutions should be (although possibly hard to execute) - only for the player to fail, and have to re-think to find a non-obvious solution. Thanks for playing!
