PURE One-Handed! [Primal Warrior Perk]

Based on my other mod:

This mod, much like its predecessor (in the link above), is meant to make One-Handed combat w/out the use of a shield, spell, or weapon in the Off-Hand more viable. Unlike its predecessor, it is not simply a small stat increase, and suffers from less issues created by oversight.
This perk applies 'Sweep' to One-Handed attacks, allowing them to hit multiple targets up close, but only under certain conditions, the most important of which is that your Off-Hand (Left hand) must be empty. This means you cannot be holding a shield, a spell, or another weapon in the offhand(You can, however, wield a torch). Secondly, the Sweep buff does not apply to standing, backwards or forwards Power Attacks.

The Perk is available at level 25 of the One-Handed skill.

I see. though I do like your mods idea and viewpoint of the skill. Well I'll have to check out sperg, browsed it and it seems worth looking at. Thanks for your feedback

Yes, the skill from this perk does replace the other one. However, there are better skill mods that make no off-hand more viable, such as SPERG (which gives you a sort of Parry skill that increases your damage if you block using a one-handed weapon). I don't have any motivation to continue this small mod, as there are too many other, larger mods that work much better.

This one seems to replace the perk of the other one. I don't know if you're still active but if would be wonderful if both could be acquired together.

I wasn't aware of that information at all, I just looked it up and I don't see that information anywhere but pertaining to archers, which obviously this mod does not entail.

@Corporal Cow, I would, but I'm pretty sure you already do move faster without a shield. Shields count as armor, and weight you down like any other piece. That's how I understand it, please, please, please correct me if I'm wrong, then I might consider adding a speed buff in same shape or form.

Would you ever consider adding speed buffs to one handed, much like duel weilding allows, considering that logically the weilder could move faster without a sheild in hand...

@DopeTrooper No. It adds the Sweep effect to some attacks, like the last skill for two-handed weapons, not much else.
