Adds a spell that removes powers and shouts from your character.

After the success of "Spell Eraser", a number of people have requested that I make a similar mod that removes powers and/or shouts. Wish granted. :) Power Eraser uses the exact same mechanic turned around - instead of a spell-erasing power you use a power-erasing spell.

Equip the Remove Power/Shout spell (found under Alteration) and the power or shout you want to remove, then just cast the spell and hey presto! The power or shout is gone. Note that you cannot remove passive powers, only those that you equip and cast.

DISCLAIMER:
I will not be held responsible for what you do with this mod. If you break a quest or mod by removing a quest-specific power or shout, be prepared to use the console to fix it yourself. Also note that in the case of mods, you may encounter a scenario where the removed power is just re-added the next time you load your game. I am powerless to prevent that.

Eps, on the thought of a quest eraser, what about any quests currently selected? (Like, logged and showing on quest watcher) Or does that not work?

Hmph. Sad, thanks for the mods, and keep up the great work.

Can't do that, sadly. There simply isn't a method for me to select which quest to erase.

Can you make a quest eraser? I have a few misc. quests that are stuck in my journal after completion. I had to use consule to remove some but a few are sticking. I think a quest eraser would be a good addtion to this collection of eraser modss you have going, and hope you create it. Good work, and thank you.

Thank you very much for answering so promptly. Unfortunately though, from what I gather, the only way to clear those blasted menus is to restart the game... bugger! I must admit, I'm considering doing so, and if I do, I think I'll try your Mastered Magicka and Enchantment Fix mod. Thanks again for being so helpful.

As you can see in this screenshot: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/36077861/Skyrim%20bugs%201.2/enchanter.jpg , the only thing that denotes an Enchanter object is a value in the Bench Type field. There is no script attached at all. Which means the game pulls up the menu all on its own whenever you activate a piece of furniture marked with that value.

Oh, thank you very much for checking it out. I really appreciate that. The outcome of your research didn't quite please, but that's Beth's fault. One last thing: do you know what triggers the lists that come up when you use an enchanter? I'd be more than happy to just hide those effects, so my character would still know them, but my menus woulnd't be pointlessly cluttered up. Thanks again.

Hmm, I just checked the script documentation and I don't see anything related to learned/unlearned enchantments. I guess that isn't exposed to modding, at least not through the basic scripting engine. Sorry. :|

Hi, sorry to intrude: I'm looking for a mod, or a way to have my character forget some Enchantments. Since this seems to be the closest thing, I thought someone posting here might tell me what triggers the in-game menu, and what to change to make such mod. I'm lost there, but I really need this! A paramount factor is that I have no knowledge of scripting, so I'm helpless, if that is envolved. I really hope there's a way, or a mod somewhere. Cheers!

If you need inspiration, try Ethereal Form + Firestorm/Lightning Storm or any other Master Spell. ;)
