Description
This mod re-introduces both of the Amulets of the Divines (Amulet of the Eight, Amulet of the Nine) to the world of Skyrim, this time with a twist! Each is a powerful enchanted amulet which combines the Divines' amulets and their effects into one.

These lore-friendly amulets allow you to display your character's opinion on the Talos debate that is featured prominently in the game. Supporters of Talos worship would wear the Amulet of the Nine, while your various Talos-denying types would wear the Amulet of the Eight.

The Amulets of the Divines can be forged without perks in the jewelry section provided the player has one of each of the required Amulets of the Nine Divines (Akatosh, Arkay, Dibella, Julianos, Kynareth, Mara, Stendarr, Talos*, Zenithar) with them. *Talos amulet is not required for the Amulet of the Eight.

You will find it they provide the exact same bonuses as the individual amulets do, except at the same time. They are a small boost to several stats, while not making any specific effect overpowered. They also save the player from having to switch between several amulets to get the specific bonus they need at any given time. Time outside of the inventory menus is time well spent.

You cannot disenchant these Amulets... the Blessings of the Divines are eternal...

Collecting the 8 or 9 amulets can be a fun side quest all its own, but if honest hard work isn't your thing and you'd rather get your hands on them without the bother of hunting down the elusive ingredients, you now can steal them. Head to the Temple of the Divines in Solitude and check out the main altar area & read the letter sent to High Priest Rorlund by General Tullius to embark on a bit of a backstory and mini-quest! It can be found right as you walk in the Temple.

The resulting effects on the wearer of these Amulets are as follows:

+25% Magicka Regen (from the Amulet of Akatosh)
+10 Health (from the Amulet of Arkay)
+15 Speechcraft (from the Amulet of Dibella)
+10 Magicka (from the Amulet of Julianos)
+10 Stamina (from the Amulet of Kynareth)
-10% Cost for Restoration spells (from the Amulet of Mara*)
+10% Blocking (from the Amulet of Stendarr)
-20% Shout cooldown (from the Amulet of Talos**)
+10% Better Prices (from the Amulet of Zenithar)

* You will not get marriage dialogues with the Amulets of the Divines. Use a traditional Amulet of Mara instead.

** If you begin the miscellaneous quest "Return to Grace" ( http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Return_to_Grace ), any Amulets of Talos you have or pickup will be marked as a quest item until that quest is completed. During this time you will not be able to forge the Amulet of the Nine, the game will say you lack the required ingredients at the forge. (Amulet of the Eight can still be forged as it does not require a Talos amulet as an ingredient)

Please let me know if you have any problems. I have worked very hard on this and hope everyone can enjoy it.

******MOD CREATOR'S NOTE******
If you used my previous Amulet mods, you need to delete the .esp & .bsa files out of your Skyrim/Data folder. You will receive a message about missing the required files, hit OK. Beware, you will lose any previous Amulets of the Eight or Nine you had made with the old mods! This is a small price to pay for an update such as this. You will not lose any ingredient amulets you may have collected previously. If you created these Amulets before and really cant be bothered to do it again or don't want to go to Solitude and steal them, I would not consider it "cheating" to console yourself a new one. If you let me know, I'll show you an easy way to do it.

The necklace is already a model in the game files, called the Jeweled Amulet. I simply reskinned it 2 different times and used it here. I'm sure whoever you're talking about did the same thing.

Where did you get the idea for using a gold diamond with a star in the middle? I've seen another mod use this same design for as well.

It was an earlier version of the mod that simply had them as craftable. This one makes it a little more fun.

In your description you said that this mod reintroduces the Amulet of the Eight and the Amulet of the Nine. Where were they originally introduced? (I've only played Skyrim)

Flyboy, let me know how you make out. It should work A-OK for you. You can't miss the letter and decree (screenshot above), the table it is on is at the end of the hallway as you enter the temple. Good luck!

I looked high and low and never found them. I'll reinstall the mod and check again

Flyboy, you see no letter, no pedestal at the shrines at the end of the Temple?

I even started a new game.. .and still the letter from the General is not shown. I wonder what mod is conflicting with yours

Nice touch, its good to be able to carry the favours of all the Divines as opposed to limitting yourself to just one.
