Description
Since I started playing Skyrim, I've been searching for armor for a female character that made sense, defensively and structurally, looked decent, and actually looked kind of feminine. I'm too tired of all the skimpy armor, battle bikinis (or even less!) that you'd freeze to death in, if you weren't stabbed in one of your many unprotected vital areas first. Hopefully, with this mod I have achieved that.

Edit: Well the harddrive I had most of the mod files on was inexplicably destroyed, so I don't know if there will be further updates, unfortunately. Thank you to all of my wonderful subscribers, I hope you enjoy this mod!

Introducing Freya's Raiment, a new armored battle dress to meet the needs of discerning female characters.
Freya is the Norse goddess of beauty, war and death, (well, among other things) so I found it only fitting to name the armor after her.

This mod adds a new, standalone armor to the game.
It's a set of female light armor, which can be crafted at any forge, under the Steel category.
Fully upgradable and enchantable, it requires steel and silver ingots to create.
(You may need the Arcane Smithing perk to upgrade this armor.)

You can also find it using the console commands for "Freya"
(First input "help freya" into the console, the item IDs should appear.
Next input "player.additem ####### 1" and substitute # for the ID numbers of each item.)

Stat-wise, the set is fairly close to the Dragon sets.

Original credit to A TYPE2, for his Oblivion mod which I've altered and fixed.
Major props to Petrovich and ortog, who have their UNP Jewelry and retexture free to use.
Thank you!

Edit:
For those interested, the mods I am using (and recommend!) here are:

''Hair packs of TES IV Oblivion for Female Only'' by Radioragae (Skyrim Nexus)
''UNP Jewelry Retextured'' by ortog (Skyrim Nexus; orignal by Petrovich, variants also available!)
''Better Females by Bella'' by BellaGail (Skyrim Nexus, but also available on the Workshop)
''YY Anim Replacer - Mystic Knight'' by yukl (Skyrim Nexus)

It would be great if you could make armored trousers instead of a skirt as well skirts are on almost every light armor already
Otherwise great texture working!

Could you please upload this to the nexus? I don't want to use the workshop to install any mods as it's a little... inconvenient. This is one of my favourite armor mods; It looks absolutely adorable and still feels like armor and not just a silly dress, and I'd love to get it into my game again!

Can't make it at the forge. Anyone know the perk required? I have the steel smithing perk, but for some reason I cannot find it in the listings.

Could you also make it compatible with the digitgrade feet for argonian and Kajit?

This armor looks remarkably close to the armor Freya, the Brumecian, wears in FF9
This is exactly what I was looking for!!!!! Thanks man! Could you possibly consider coloring this armor, adding a matching helmet, and maybe making a heavy armor version? That would be awsome.
