Since I started playing Skyrim, I've been searching for armor for a female character that made sense, defensively and structurally, looked decent, and actually looked kind of feminine. I'm too tired of all the skimpy armor, battle bikinis (or even less!) that you'd freeze to death in, if you weren't stabbed in one of your many unprotected vital areas first. Hopefully, with this mod I have achieved that.

Edit: Well the harddrive I had most of the mod files on was inexplicably destroyed, so I don't know if there will be further updates, unfortunately. Thank you to all of my wonderful subscribers, I hope you enjoy this mod!

Introducing Freya's Raiment, a new armored battle dress to meet the needs of discerning female characters.
Freya is the Norse goddess of beauty, war and death, (well, among other things) so I found it only fitting to name the armor after her.

This mod adds a new, standalone armor to the game.
It's a set of female light armor, which can be crafted at any forge, under the Steel category.
Fully upgradable and enchantable, it requires steel and silver ingots to create.
(You may need the Arcane Smithing perk to upgrade this armor.)

You can also find it using the console commands for "Freya"
(First input "help freya" into the console, the item IDs should appear.
Next input "player.additem ####### 1" and substitute # for the ID numbers of each item.)

Stat-wise, the set is fairly close to the Dragon sets.

Original credit to A TYPE2, for his Oblivion mod which I've altered and fixed.
Major props to Petrovich and ortog, who have their UNP Jewelry and retexture free to use.
Thank you!

Edit:
For those interested, the mods I am using (and recommend!) here are:

''Hair packs of TES IV Oblivion for Female Only'' by Radioragae (Skyrim Nexus)
''UNP Jewelry Retextured'' by ortog (Skyrim Nexus; orignal by Petrovich, variants also available!)
''Better Females by Bella'' by BellaGail (Skyrim Nexus, but also available on the Workshop)
''YY Anim Replacer - Mystic Knight'' by yukl (Skyrim Nexus)

For people confused you need the steel smithing perk to make it

Can you craft the armor at all?

Thank you. I have also noticed a dearth of appropriate battle dress and day to day stuff as well. I am not surprised at the 'unexplicable' loss of your hard drive information. I am not a skilled modder, but have had many (good?) ideas that preceeded os re-installs after laboriously struggling with concepts that I couldn't fullly develop. Apparently they were magically communicated by coincidence and psychic ability to those who could. Your mod is beautiful. I have learned to archive all essential information.

First, sorry if my english should not be that good ....
But I really have to say great job: D finally a suit of armor that covered everything as it should be (realistic) and at the same time still looks very feminine!
I love this armor as long as I have been looking for a suit of armor in "dress look" !! It works through its shape at the same time also very cute <3
Thanks for the provision of this mod, it is my absolute favorite armor for my Elfin :)

This armour is great! I've been using it on my newest character, and even though I keep trying to find armor that looks cool/different for variety purposes, I seem to be only using this one because of how great it looks. :D

Only suggestion I'd like to make is adding more variety with color. It's such a great armor set, it would be nice to have more options when crafting it. Blue, purple, red, yellow, gold, etc..........dark colors would make it a great vampire warrior set. :D
