Description
Since I started playing Skyrim, I've been searching for armor for a female character that made sense, defensively and structurally, looked decent, and actually looked kind of feminine. I'm too tired of all the skimpy armor, battle bikinis (or even less!) that you'd freeze to death in, if you weren't stabbed in one of your many unprotected vital areas first. Hopefully, with this mod I have achieved that.

Edit: Well the harddrive I had most of the mod files on was inexplicably destroyed, so I don't know if there will be further updates, unfortunately. Thank you to all of my wonderful subscribers, I hope you enjoy this mod!

Introducing Freya's Raiment, a new armored battle dress to meet the needs of discerning female characters.
Freya is the Norse goddess of beauty, war and death, (well, among other things) so I found it only fitting to name the armor after her.

This mod adds a new, standalone armor to the game.
It's a set of female light armor, which can be crafted at any forge, under the Steel category.
Fully upgradable and enchantable, it requires steel and silver ingots to create.
(You may need the Arcane Smithing perk to upgrade this armor.)

You can also find it using the console commands for "Freya"
(First input "help freya" into the console, the item IDs should appear.
Next input "player.additem ####### 1" and substitute # for the ID numbers of each item.)

Stat-wise, the set is fairly close to the Dragon sets.

Original credit to A TYPE2, for his Oblivion mod which I've altered and fixed.
Major props to Petrovich and ortog, who have their UNP Jewelry and retexture free to use.
Thank you!

Edit:
For those interested, the mods I am using (and recommend!) here are:

''Hair packs of TES IV Oblivion for Female Only'' by Radioragae (Skyrim Nexus)
''UNP Jewelry Retextured'' by ortog (Skyrim Nexus; orignal by Petrovich, variants also available!)
''Better Females by Bella'' by BellaGail (Skyrim Nexus, but also available on the Workshop)
''YY Anim Replacer - Mystic Knight'' by yukl (Skyrim Nexus)

The mod is great but I found one issue. I found the issue while using magic with the GAUNLETS (specifically). It's the right hand index finger has a strange part that kinda sticks to the "rude" finger. Also, the armor that covers the upper right arm kinda sticks to the hips/armpits.

I have spent hours looking for more femal armor that is as classy and practical as this....and there is literally nothing. Everything is either too dark, too fetish or boarder-lining manly.

There needs to be more of this kind armor becasue there just isn't enough of it.

Seriously, thank for making this.

Finally! The first armor I wouldn't be ashamed to be playing with in a public area. You know how weird it feels to be in the airport/Starbucks when Skyrim loads up a slutty character?

It's so awesome and so pretty. It's basically the only armor I use xD

Love the look of this armor! So glad to find armor for a female character that isn't skimpy, doesn't constantly have a panty shot and her tits aren't hangin out. The only thing I think is tad off is that her waist is abnormally small in it, but I still love it! Definitly recommend this if you want beautiful, yet tasteful armor.

This is a great mod. My female character looks great with it and it still looks like armor. Thanks for this.
