You take the role of tending a tree. Controlling the wind, rain, heat and try to grow the tree. Discover the how different weather patterns can affect the growth of your tree. Abusing your power can cause unexpected side effects that does not help the tree…or do they. Every time the tree dies a seed is grown from it. The strength of this new seed depends on how you played last time, the rougher the life of the last tree the stronger the offspring.

Design was inspried by the theme of the Global Game Jam 2012 which was an image of an ouroboros.

The Game is available on the iOS App Store, just searc "Growth GGJ"

You can also preview the game for Windows, Mac OS X & in html5 (html5 can be a little dodgy) at . I am currently working on WIndows 8 and Windows Phone 8

Winner of the Wollongong, NSW, Australia 48 hour Global Game Jam 2012.

Nice, peaceful content in an age of ultra violoence. I agree it looks like it needs more polishing. I suppose one model would be I have it running in the background, occasinally (once an hour) have to water it.

I played the preview of the game and I believe it has potential, but it needs extensive polishing before it is released. As others have said, there is not enough content for it to be a full-fledged game. The graphics also need to be overhauled. It is heading in the right direction but needs more time to... well, Grow. :)

I don't really think there's enough content in this to be considered a Steam game. I don't even know why you submitted a flash game made in 48 hours.

If it's based off of Flash, Linux will have poor support. =/
