Description
After being inactive for over a year am think about just maybe, just maybe starting with the mod again, I don't have a lot of time on my hands but maybe just maybe I might work on it again (thanks for sticking with me guys). But per usual don't trust me.

Requirements:
No mods or official DLCs needed to use this mod.
Should work with any other mod, that don't make use of the same locations, which is doubtful.
also since so many ask, this mod works fine alongside the Db resurrection mod.

Known issues:
Can cause problems with the original DB questline (I probadly did something when looking up code) there for I recommend you only have this mod active after you are done with the original questline. (the mod requires the original questline to be finished anyway.)


Description:
Black Hand Embassy is a mod, meant to expand the Dark brotherhood experience. After the player becomes the listener and completes the Dark brotherhood main questline. The brotherhood starts to rebuild, and orders the establishment of a new center of operations for Tamriel, able to carry out contracts in all parts of Tamriel and act as a embassy for the brotherhood. The Listener will be able to find a note and key on a table in the Dawnstar sanctuary's masterbedroom. Upon reading the note, the listener will receive a quest leading to the embassy, remember to pick up the key. The embassy acts as a playerhome and a Dark brotherhood sanctuary that will soon have it's own contracts for the Listener to carry out, some small and major, through the questline you will see the power of the Dark brotherhood slowly growing to the point of it's former status.

The questline summery:
After the Destruction of the Falkreach Sanctuary and the restablishment of the old Dawnstar sanctuary, the new Listener decides it is time to rebuild and guide the brotherhood back to its former glory. The listener orders the Establishment of a new sanctuary a place where the dark brotherhood can rebuild and grow, the Listener calls it the Black Hand Embassy, recruits joins the new Sanctuary and some old members that have been in hiding have deamed it safe to come back. The Listener receive a letter telling the embassy is done enough to visit. The Listener goes to the embassy afterall the embassy is the new headquarters of the Dark Brotherhood. Once there, the Listener finds a letter from the Sanctuary of Daggerfall, a sanctuary long destroyed, or was it?
The Listener is informed that the sanctuary was not actually destroyed but rather went into hiding, taking in recruits in secret. The destruction was false rumors meant to fool even members of other sanctuaries, none could know the Sanctuary had survived. Continuing reading the letter the Listener discovers that sanctuary of Daggerfall is willing to come out of the hiding to serve Sithis once more now that a new Listener willing to return to the old ways and willing to rebuild have been chosen, but they want the Listener to complete a contract in High Rock for them to prove that the Listener is both chosen and capable. Soon the Listener discovers that not only the sanctuary of Daggerfall survived when sanctuaries from all over Tamriel starts to reveal themselves. Everything goes well until The Dark Brotherhood finds itself clashing with a former foe, due to unexpected events.
But my dear Listener, is that all? Or thus the truth lie obscured in the works of shadows?

Why this mod was made:
Simple reason, The DB questline was too short and the ending was unsatisfying by leaving you with nothing and some really boring repeating "contracts", has a player I wanted to be the Listener and rebuild the DB to the point of it's former glory and strength, but never got the chance, I got one rotting sanctuary about to collapse and around 4 NPCs which only two of those were actual characters with names and backgrounds. I want the DB experience I wanted and I will get it even if I need to make it myself and I know that many others want the same. I will continue to expand this mod with content that feels like a true DB questline but leaving out the part of no epic ending.


The Black Hand Embassy Version 1.0:
1 quest
2 Mannequin
3 Followers (Warrior, Rogue, Wizard)
4 working interactive bookshelfs
1 merchant
1 Altar of Sithis with blessing (Muffle, cure) and animation
2 Unique weapons (will sometime in the future get unique models too)
1 Bard
10 NPC
1 Dark Guardian (returned from Oblivion)

While this in itself can be considered a done mod, there is plans for many updates.
Plans to include in updates:
-Grand expansion including Dinner hall, Blacksmith area, Baracks, Alchemy area, Enchantment area, General rooms and more secrets..
-more topics to talk with all the NPCs with 'out of dialouge' dialouges.
- More NPCs
- Fully voiced questlines (centered around the dark brotherhood) which will include quests to other provinces (in form of instances)
- Character backgrounds with character quests
- DB related books written by my brother


Current Project: Making first two quest for this mod's questline
The quests are called
"Darkness Fills The Void" Done
"While Fire Consumes" (Status: Story(done) Modding(not started))

UPDATE 1.1 includes:
-A new room added to the embassy, the Listeners workspace in it you will find the first quest 10 weapon racks and 1 mannequin.
-Ulfgar who before just sat around doing nothing is now fully voice and have the role of Warden of the embassy, he will answer any questions you might have.
-the BLACK DOOR now have a RIDDLE for you the first time you enter..I am rather proud of it.
-All mannequins now work properly and don't move around.
Of course the major thing with this update is the quest. Finally the mod have a proper quest. You start the quest by reading the letter which you will find in the office. And read the letter it is quite important for the story. Also remember to ask Ulfgar about tips for the contract. YES YOU CAN DO THAT.
I hope you enjoy the very first contract the instances are absolutly amazing and the quest scripting actually work, what more THERE IS A BONUS OBJECTIVE. if completed you will find yourself with a sweet bonus at the end of the quest.
I will try to make the second quest as soon as possible and since I ain't got any problems anymore it will not take several months I promise. If I find the time I might even be able to do it in a few days, no promises though.

Author personal note: I share this account with my big brother, who recently also got into modding himself, before he only helped with the story now he is the one scripting while I make the instances.

Why dont courius give me letters?

i took a quest from the room inside to go to dagenfell or somthing but now im in a cave and cant get out , i see the exit just 10 feet away but invisable wall is stoping me going out to skyrim.

do i get a quest when i get to the embasy? i have the quest "travel to the embasy" and i go in and out the door but the marker and quest remain. btw this sanctuary is much nicer than the last 2 :) (originals)

Note and key do not appear anywhere in Dawnstar sanctuary.

really good mod much better than the DB resurrected mod, just wish you would have kept going. its a good replacement for the crappy dawnstar sanctuary though at least.

ok i have many problems with this stupid mod first traveled to the embassy... quest didnt update go to the "leader", leader has the most autistic sounding voice acting i have ever heard tells me theres a letter in my "office" where theres no note 0/10

@Linka421 have you finished the quest line and could you add a picture of the loaction of the embassy? or explain it ? I have one mod that i think could be in the same location as the embassy might be, but i'm unsure.
