Description
You'll need a lot of thought to transfer the cubes from one place to another. This puzzle is not a long one, but it will take some thinking. Cubes, buttons, tractor beams and lasers are used to navigate through, but transfering the cubes from one chamber to another is tricky. One reflector cube, and one standard cube are used all the way through.

The puzzle has been edited to include a fizzler field just after the player enters the upper level. Only the "player" can enter the upper level and nothing else. Some walls have been pushed back on the upper level to ensure good visibility of the first tractor beam. Game-play and intended solution remains the same even though the included video may appear different in some ways. The video was uploaded before the changes were made. Again, solution and game-play remains unchanged.

I got to the exit, but I did not think it was the intended way. Watched your walkthrough. I was right. It was not the intended solution. I trapped the standard cube in the cage (under the first level floor). Then portaled it to the second level.

Hahahaha!! That's pretty damn funny, right there! And a whole new way or looking at "stuffing the bird" ;)

Thanks, glad you like it. We had are thanksgiving already because I'm in Canada. But nevertheless, it's the one day out of the year where we take perfectly good food and stick it up a birds ass.

Oh man, I think this was the first chamber I've had time to do in about 3 months. Employment has its advantages, staying sharp in Portal is not one of them. Talk about rusty! I nearly gave up a few times, glad I kept at it. Wonderful chamber, as always! Nice and tricky yet totally doable. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving!

@metadavid: Thanks, glad you liked it. As for how I design them, I don't know. I guess sometimes I get an idea and then elaborate on it from there. Sometimes I might even work backwards. I'll think of the end result (just for that specific chamber) and try to create what would come before it.

Cheers.
