Summery of Mod
This Mod really puts an emphasis on the SURVIVAL aspect in ARK.

Tamed dinos no longer get a Massive stat bonus just for taming it.
Wild dinos are just as powerfull as your tamed dino of same type and level.
Dino eggs of almost every dino type can be found in the wild.
Most dinos have had its walking/running animation and movement speeds adjusted.
Most dinos have had its damage stat adjusted to a more realistic.
All hair styles unlocked from the start.
No Collision building objects.
Wide and Small versions of dino gates to accommodate all dino sizes.
Outdoor lighting structures for lighting larger areas.
Glass building structures to enjoy the view while still providing saftey and greenhouse effects.
Venomous and Paralytic arrows.
Gun rework. bullets do much more damage to players/dinos.
Rafts have a further back 3rd person view, increased speed and can go in reverse.
Daytime/Nighttime speeds adjusted. much longer days with slightly longer nights.
Fire sources such as wall/standing torches have increased lighting radius.

Custom damage:
Mammoth, paracer and merellotops have stomp damage that does much more damage to smaller dinos then larger ones.
Many smaller creatures (dodo's, micro raptors, salmon & ants to name a few), take extra damage from larger dinos and player melee and projectile weapons.
Many of the flyers (pela, argent, ptero, ect) take extra damage from larger carnivores such as carno & rex for example. (i mean, a carno's head is 3/4 the size of a pela so its gonna hurt bad if it were to get bit by something that big right)

Stat Changes:
Per level up stats for tamed dinos have been adjusted. (Melee and Speed stats are minimal gains to keep tamed dinos closer to wild counterpart)
These changes make for more variety in dino stats. simply because you tamed a max level dino doesnt mean it has the BEST stats possible. it really boils down to the per level stat increases the dino may have hit when tamed.
i have seen many times where a lower level dino has 1 or 2 stats that are higher then another dino of that same type that is a higher level as an example.

Experimental Features
Wild Fertile eggs: (other then wyverns) - currently only dodo & dilo's can lay wild fertile eggs. im still debating if i should use this or not.

v1.9.7 should fix nest eggs not being mod versions of the dino. easiest way to tell as always is if your dino has the smaller, darker rectangle Mod hud or the vanilla large square blue hud.

Update: seems there are many reports of deinonychus nest not spawning. i have tested this with mod installed and without and have not seen nests spawning. also wyvern nests also seem to be effected. so basically until wildcard fix the nest spawning issues and properly override dinos from nest eggs there is not much i can do. i will wait a week or 2 and see if anything changes and if its not sorted them i'll try and think of another alternate solution for nests and eggs.

sorry for the recent quick succession of small updates. it was mainly due to limited time last week and known issues with the devkit (287.0). some of those devkit issues have been resolved with a more recent devkit update (287.1).

FYI - as of todays update i would recommend in the gameUserSettings.ini at/near the bottom there is a section that says something like [game/mods/NRZ_Conquest/NRZ_Conquest_gameMode.NRZ_Conquest_gameMode_C] this and the stats under it, delete that all as it seems its not automatically updateing it to the new version. when you restart server it will generate a new updated one in the game user settings.

@Nirmrod: Sounds good and I agree. I like to know how and why about everything so am naturally quite inquisitive and I like to set up things very well for our community so I take time and test and balance things out thouroughly much to their dismay it takes a bit longer, lol.

I am here because I am looking for just that, a more balanced down to earth mod with a natural PVE progression.

Thanks.

@Max - i did that with giga in a prev mod but i just removed them from spawning in this mod. and i dont have any plans to put a modified version back in. as far as the diplo, they have always been very large playfull creatures not fighters and im not gonna change that. each dino has its pros & cons. each has its specific uses over almost every other dino. this alone is often overlooked in vanilla ark simply because most only go after flyers and big carnivores. then just destroy everything with no challenge what so ever. this mod changes that. rex is still big and bad and will destory most dinos but a large wolf pack for example can wreck a rex because they are smaller and faster and rex has trouble biting near it own feet. i like to think that this mod showcases each dinos use more then the vanilla game and it will benifit you more to use them based on your needs. hopefully you enjoy the changes to the dinos like my group i play with does. we'll see, its not for everyone :)
