I appretiate the feedback, but to be honest I made this a while ago and haven't really touched the senario editor since then. When I made this I was a very big noob (still am, but not as much) with triggers. This senario doesnt really pose a challenge, as the units are set to immobile but will attack if provoked. This item is an editable in the senario editor, so it was a map you could play around with in the editor, to make your own map, or play and discover the map I made but not worry about being attacked. I am sorry to disapoint but I do not really plan on making any changes.

I gave you a thumbs up because I was able to beat it. I don't like Scenarios that are either glitched or are so long and grueling that it becomes monotonous.

I beat it on Hard. Here is a helpful review: You have cool opening artwork. I used scouts to reveal all the enemy terrain and buildings, and after I destroyed everything that I saw, the Britons still didn't surrender. I used the Marco cheat and saw that I had missed two idle villagers in the Northeast, as well as a Woad warrior by the southern base. It was alittle annoying because I thought that I had killed them all. If the enemy was active, the AI might have sent those units to attack me so that I wouldn't have to search for them (See Issue #2 below). On the other hand, hunting for stragglers is a typical feature of AOE2. In AOE3, it seems more typical for the AI to surrender before it is left with just a few stragglers.

There were three issues you could change, but you don't need to.

Issue #1. In the town in the south end of Gaul, there is a burning sound even though nothing looks burning. I guess that you wanted it as a sound effect for ambience, but it felt off. If you put a campfire there it would make more sense.

Issue #2. in AOE2 there is a known issue where in some scenarios the enemy AI villagers and all other enemy units don't move unless you get near them, and that applies to the "Roman Invasion of Britannia" Scenario. I don't know if the Scenario Designer intended this. It may be because the AI started with 0 resources. Here is a discussion on the issue: ("AI does nothing", https://steamcommunity.com/app/221380/discussions/2/648814845095765966/)
On the other hand, since the enemy has like 5 walled fort areas and a bunch of villages, whereas you only start with one village and can't build a Town Center, my concern would be that having an active AI farming spawning units would make it too hard. I guess if the AI had much fewer villagers than you, then an active AI wouldn't be a problem. So in conclusion, I don't see this as a big problem. The enemy AIs felt kind of comatose so having them do at least a little work would be nice.

Issue #3. After the Britons surrendered when I killed all their units, the game still did not end. Finally, I switched the Green Gaul team to Enemy and destroyed their buildings and won. It was an OK experience sending my units back from England into the Green Gaul towns. It was like the Invasion of Normandy. But it doesn't really work with the story. Probably what you have to do is create a "Trigger" in the Trigger section where the Red Player wins as soon as the Blue Player surrenders. Probably the Triggers are not too hard to understand. You have to select a Condition (Player 1 or whomever you chose for the Briton Player Surrenders) and then an Output (Player 2 or whomever you chose for the Human Player wins).

Yeah it was meant to be the one under Claudius but it doesn't really matter.

I take it that you are referring to the 43 AD Invasion of Britain that was successful and long lasting, not Caesar's 1st Century BC invasion that didn't create a Roman settlement.

That explains it.

lol yeah I made another senario on the battle of Hastings. The original name I put on it for the workshop for was also "Hastinks" and so it was also named "Hastinks" in the file, which you confirmed. While I made this i got confused with another place I know (kinda close to where I live) called "Hastinks".

Kind of a weird or funny little fact is that the file that you get with this scenario has a text Readme saying that you relive the 1066 Battle of "Hastinks".
