Bigger Badder Bears

Description
As a forward, I would like to inform everyone that the nexus is my preferred repository and any updates or additions are likely to be found over there first. This is not to say that I will not be updating my mods here on the workshop, or that there will even be any kind of significant time between updates on the nexus and here.

Nexus Mirror:
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32602/

Vanilla bears are kind of small and weak...

This mod turns them into the powerful creatures they should be!

Simple Info:
Bear bigger than you. Bear hit you, big hurt.

Technical Info:
Regular Bears (Black Bears) have had their size, weight and damage increased by 10% roughly.
Cave Bears (Brown Bears) have had their size, weight and damage increased by 30% roughly.
Snow Bears (Polar Bears) have had their size, weight and damage increased by 50% roughly.

All of their power attack damage has been increased by the same percentage, in addition to the damage it normally did. Meaning that Regular Bears now do 60% more damage on a power attack (instead of 50% more), Cave Bears do 80% more damage on a power attack and Snow Bears do a whopping 100% additional damage on power attacks.

In other words... getting hit by a bear WILL hurt, like it should!

There are several different versions available on the Nexus. Unfortunately I will not be publishing them to steam. They are Nexus exclusive.

March 12 Update:
Altered the weight and size of female bear versions. Didn't realize there was an option until recently. Not sure if this will affect anything or not either way though. If not at least it's there for completeness.
Modified the sound volume of Cave Bears and Snow Bears in the CK. Volume modifiers seem to have an effect for louder roaring goodness to match their new intimidating size.
Increased the health slightly for all bears. They should not only hit harder now, but will take a few more well placed blows/arrows to kill.
Modified the weight in the NPC record for each of the bears, so not only are weights modified in Race, but now NPC as well. I'm hoping this actually has some effect on speed. Maybe not. If it doesn't I'll have to fix the odd looking speeds the old fashioned way.
Found and fixed an error in the weight of the Snow Bear.

Acknowledgments:
I got the idea for this mod from the following two similar mods

Bigger Bears (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=12923)
Stronger wolves and bears ! (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=10436)

it looks like the scale is 2.... if the scale is 1, i think it should be 1.5, two times the size is rediculous. xD

At last! Bears now scares the shit out of me when I'm walking in the woods. THIS is what skyrim is all about. Huge dangerous beasts that you should fear with your life. The bears should have more hp too! Loving it!

Well, normally that would be the case, but when i do have both of those mods on, all the loot shows up. It's weird I know. I'm not too worried about it though, If I want bear pastries I will just load it on a different save file. Keep up the good work with your mods! This one is working wonders with providing the raw challenge :D

@goliath001 - I don't modify the loot tables at all, so I'm not certain why this mod would prevent any loot from dropping when it comes to mods that do. What does your load order look like? I would assume if there was a conflict it would be between the other two mods, Teeq's Better Loot and Bears Drop Bear Claws, simply because those two mods are in fact altering the loot tables.

Ok, I checked it out and found that Teeq's Better Loot v1.14 still works with this mod. The bear pastries from the Bears Drop Bear Claws mod are not showing up though.

Heh, I can't wait. I'm going to subscribe anyways and see for myself! :D
