Find an old tome containing ancient teachings of druidic lore which describes four different trials that will enable you to transform into powerful beasts that have the ability to harness the devastating forces of nature.
This mod adds 4 transformation lesser powers in the Alteration school of magic to the player's arsenal. They are lesser powers which means that Alteration perks do not affect mana cost. Alteration enchanted gear will reduce the magicka cost.
The transformations come equipped with their own special abilities. The monster skills use up stamina instead of magicka and the transformations last indefinitely.

The following are recommended / required when running this mod:

Upon reaching level 10 and returning the Dragonstone to Farengar, a courier will deliver a letter to the player which triggers the quest 'Lost Practices'.

Note: Make sure to back up your save files before updating! Existing users should use a clean save before updating! My apologies for this but there is nothing else I can do. I need to release this update as it is also crucial for the sequel.

V3.2 Update
  • The aspect of nature now has a male spriggan mesh for male players.
  • Integrated carry weight fix for all aspects.
  • Aspects' normal attacks does not cost any stamina.
  • Aspect of Nature's Nature Call ability fixed. You can no longer summon infinite treelings.
  • Duplicate "H" in the Falmer Sigils tome removed.
  • Aspect abilities tweaks.

Many thanks to VectorPlexus for his amazing work on the Male Spriggan mesh!

Thanks to Cam and Seb, Gopher, Brodual and MMOxReview for making video reviews of the mod!

Would like to thank Jared Bangerter and his excellent tutorial on making transformation spells. I've personally never modded before but his teachings have proven to be really helpful. He's also the author of the mod Master Shapeshifter[skyrim.nexusmods.com] which is available on the Nexus.

Thanks to DVAted's team for the Tiger model:
  • Targaryen, tumbajamba & TreasureChest (model)
  • DVAted (textures and model direction)
Do not redistribute this model without proper permission.

Big thanks to Muppetpuppet for publishing the sabre tiger texture[skyrim.nexusmods.com] as a mod resource (Texture used in trailer video). He is also responsible for one of the best quest mods out there - The Moonpath to Elsweyr[skyrim.nexusmods.com].

Props to Vusak and Thunder Wolf VX for helping out testing the mod and providing much needed ideas on how to improve it.

Also thanks to Kromey and Hanakoganei for some tips on Scripting.

I don't know if the author keeps tabs on this still, but I hope so because I have run into a snag. When I transform, there is nothing there. My character is invisible and I cannot see the different forms. The animations for transforming are visible, and so are all the sounds and visuals of the attacks, but I can't see myself. I tried moving my load list around, and tried disabling mods that mess with the overall picture, but to no avail. Any ideas would help

um i am 100% certain that nothing i have would interfere with me transforming, i equip it, press Z (which is the shout/power button) and nothing but a weird and faint stone moving sound.......unless an instant shout recovery mod is interfering, but i have transformed with those, just not now......and without SKSE or any UI systems (which i have no idea how to install and dont even try to tell me because im just gonna move on and assume it was instructions to an alien spacecraft) so......whats happening???????

It wont let me transform! I have SKSE up and working(I've had it for a year working with no problem with other mods that require it) but i select the power, press shout and nothing happens! I even unsubbed to all my other mods incase they were conflicting but still no luck, any help?

@Arhi Yours was a general explanation. I just felt I needed to explain further why I recommended using SkyUI specifically for my mod. Equally useful in their own way :)

eh, your answer was better than mine blu XD

@Mister Badger This mod is script intensive so there might be some lag on script procesing for some rigs. The enchantments I cannot help since it's the CK's weirdness for not re-activating the enchantments when equipping gear by script. The powers are activated by the shout key so I would assume it would work on a controller just that it's mapped to a controller button rather than your keyboard. Try to visit the Skyrim Nexus mod page[www.nexusmods.com] for more info.

@stalesock the mod will run without SkyUI, it's actually just recommended as said above since it gives you access to more options to tweak the amount of bonuses given to the aspects. SKSE however, is required for the mod. Skyrim in itself will run without both.

skyrim and the mod run without either. you need to download SKSE and install the launcher and launch skyrim from that only. SkyUI is for mod management along with better looting screens. also, some mods require both or just one to be able to be used.

so does this mod or even skyrim itself run without sky ui and ske?
