Frostflake Top

This mod adds a little but practical shack on a hilltop deep in the coldest regions of
Skyrim between Solitude and Dawnstar.

- complete workplace with forge
- chopping block
- a lockout with cooking place
- a scenic view to all sites and a warm campfire ;)
- (a smelter not far away)

- alchemy and enchanting
- cooking place
- mannequin
- simple weapon rack
- several storages

You´ll find the key somewhere near the house.
(and there is a second key in a barrel... in case you once lock yourself out :P )

I made this mod because I was longtime looking for a little shack
deep in a snowy and freezing cold region of skyrim. I have tested a lot.
But when I liked the houses, I mostly didn´t liked the places. But I wanted
to start a new character and playing it out with the Frostfall - Hypothermia Mods as
a hunting / survival game. So I had to build my own one and also finally
start to learn the creation kit basics.

So, this my first mod and and sadly, I could not figure out how to completly rework
the navmesh on the exterior yet. But there is enough place for some followers
to move. The house itself is fully navmeshed.

On my own, into the wilds, surviving. So, feel invited to do the same with your next game !

P.S. : Since some of you asked about my ENB: I´m using (an old) jasminENB. In addition I´ve added basically a lot of saturation and some minior color tweaking with the IMAGINTOR mod, which is very handy.

0.97 added snow to roof and a chest to the forge

As a non-ENB user, I'd almost say that the interior lighting (with the violets and golds) is from ELFX (Enhanced Lighting and FX). It really reminds me of that mod, even if it isn't, and it would get a similar "colourful" look (if your system can't support an ENB).

I'm going to give this little cottage a try. I've been searching for a suitable house mod for nearly a year now, and I hope this delivers. The Workshop is pretty limited when it comes to options.

ok, here is my official review (no im not a reviewer)
this mod is excellent, its stable you can store your crap without worrying about it being deleted
its lore friendly and doesent have any "gimmes"
the atmosphere is just superb, the basement is dark, dank, you can almost feel it, the main floor is small, a bit cramped, but so is the rest of the house, but plenty of moving room. has a very homey feeling.
the locationis also rather conviniant, atleast for me, as thats where i spend most of my time in game.

I don't know if I'm the only one coming across the upstairs dresser next to the maniquin being backwards or not, aside from that this mod is amazing! Very lore friendly and what I've been searching for. Cheers!

what a little beauty of a house , it is placed brilliantly as Im playing Frostfall,I was just about to die when I reached it. The big warm fire that greated me was more than welcome.
I love the desk area upstairs, you have designed the whole house so well, all 5 of my followers bumbled round without a problem.
A star of hom that will be in my load order again
Many thanks
