About Kaiji
Release date: Mid 2014
Restricted-RPS is an online multiplayer swindle'emup.
The action revolves around gambles on "Restricted" Rock Paper Scissors matches (the restriction being you have a finite amounts of each move). To do well in these gambles requires gaining information and opponent manipulation. The mechanics are made to be dense to give plenty of room for bluffing, teamwork, betrayal, leading and persuasion.

R-RPS aims to transplant the thrilling "meta" gameplay that experienced players of competitive shooters/fighters/etc enjoy to a non-action game. That "meta" gameplay is at the heart and forefront of every aspect of R-RPS, making it so smart people can dominate without the need for incredible reaction times.

Rippus is in development but completely (semi)functional.
Being an online game, it benefits alot every time we can manage to pull together enough people for a beta. So if you would like to participate in beta events follow the game here on greenlight or on gamejolt or follow my twitter to catch announcments of a new betaevent.
If you'd like to learn more about the rules of Restricted-RPS as well as rules and features being considered for the future then check out the Rippus wiki

Well damn. I've watched the entire series of Kaiji several times so this definitely strikes my fancy. It's not just the series though, I watched it so many times because I enjoyed the concept behind RRPS, it was a very interesting mind game.

Visuals and UI need a bit of work, but I think there is definitely potential here.
