I want to edit some settings manually, where's the config file?
Look into profile.dat located at:
~/.local/share/Steam/userdata/[your id]/107800/remote
This file is synced to steam cloud.
I have a dual monitor setup and Rochard runs on the wrong screen.
If you have a dual monitor setup with your primary monitor being the right one, Rochard most likely starts on the left monitor. Here are the steps to correct this:
  • in-game, go to options -> video
  • switch to windowed mode
  • move the window to the correct screen
  • your resolution list should get updated to include the fullscreen resolution of your primary monitor
  • select your primary monitor's full screen resolution
  • switch back to fullscreen mode
Rochard should now run fullscreen on the correct monitor.
If this setting does not persist, so it keeps running on the wrong monitor on the second startup, then you should try to instruct your window manager to move the window appropriately.

On KDE based desktop environment
  • put the game in windowed mode
  • open the window menu by clicking on the icon in the title bar and click "configure window behavior"
  • Click on "Window rules" -> new
  • Click on "Detect window properties" and click on the rochard window
  • Since Rochard does not seem to provide any specific window class, simply check to match the window title
  • Then configure the initial position of the window by setting the position property in the "size and position" tab. You have to set it to a position on the monitor that you want. In my case, my left monitor is 1280x1024 and I want it on my right monitor, so I translate the window by 1280 pixels to the right.
I also created a screencast explaining this:

Somebody who uses Ubuntu, please fill in :)
My Logitech Dual Action gamepad controller does not work correctly.
It seems the controller mapping is messed up for this gamepad.
You should configure it like this:

I talked to the devs and they even offered me some extra download and retries. well, i just can blame them believing the unity guys that it works with linux, what in fact, doesnt, or maybe only on some selected distributions.

it's a native app and it definitely works on linux, but I admit unity support on linux still needs improvement. I could ask you what your problem is exactly, but it would be better to post it on the discussion forum so other ubuntu users and/or the devs can help you out

Honestly, Rochard doesnt work under Ubuntu 14.04 and Ubunru 12.04. The producers arent helpful and i am not sure at all if they tested it well enough.

Its maybe one of that massive numbers of unity games that simply dont work on other systems than windows. I would really appreciate the description of each game says if its a native app or not.
