Hunters Arrows

Description
This is a simple mod for all you hermits out there. If your like me, you carry around a tanning rack, spend a great deal of time hunting, and set up camp every night. Yet, I find I don’t regularly need the supplies I obtain from hunting. Leather has become near useless.

With this mod, you can craft 12 Hunter’s Arrows using 2 firewood and 2 leather strips on a tanning rack. There’s no need to carry around a heavy anvil, head back into town for arrows, or use a smelter.

This is my first mod so it is basic and simple. I have not removed the metal arrow heads and arrows still read “Iron Arrow” when they have hit a wall and not a character.

In time, I hope to update this mod, allowing you to temper your arrows on a grind stone, using iron ore and hawk feathers to increase damage.

Okay, file should be updated. You will now need hawk feathers to craft arrows. I will look into frostfall's items.

Also look into another mod I crafted, http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=126582478 which will add the ability to craft all the standard arrow types from the original game using raw ore, firewood, and leather.

with the mod frostfall all the chicken give feathers, so i think i must have over 1000 feathers now, so if it works with this mod you will be able to find them.. let me know how you get on. :)

I wanted something easy to find. I don't recall the exact reason, but I remeber running into an issue with the feathers. But it might have been related to Dragonborn DLC. Additionally, there's only a few spots with hawks. Give me a few days, I'll see if I can get it working.

Just a request... the starting materials for crafting your own arrows in the tanning kit.. would this not be... Fire wood and feathers as this is what is made to make them in real life. Can't see why leather is being used?

Indeed, Frostfall would be best for realism.

Requires SKSE, though.

I really think that this is a cool idea for the "Realism" crowd and ought to help further the immersion feeling.
